We might think Greece is a Bananarepublic but in the Czech Republic Slovan did play yesterday for the third round of th Czech Cup. Just two days after their national team played an qualifier for WC2018...... Slovan won 1-5 away against Pisek (third tier club) and moved to the next round. Scorers: Markovic (2), Da Silva, Karafiat and Navratil.

Despite the illness Slovan Feverec (as I have read somewhere) will play with their usual/best endekada.

Once again a car of one of Cyprus's referees has been demolished by a bomb. The car of Giorgos Nikolaou, from Zakakiou, was trashed but luckyly no persons were harmed. It has happened before but this time it comes out of the blue as this referee did not had even one controversial decision/game this season.

Does anyone know how this now - four years later - is? Or are those numbers steady year by year?
