Maria Sakkari saw Mandy Minella from Luxembourg popping out as her opponent at the draw. Minella has a protected status (rank #301) as she gave birth to a daughter last October. She normally wasn’t allowed to take even part at the qualifiers with that ranking.

Tsitsipas will face Carlos Taberner from Spain in the first round. Tsitsipas is considered favourite as he is ranked #40 and his opponent #194. #7 seed Austrian Dominic Thiem should normally be the next opponent for the winner of the tie between Tsitsipas and Taberner.

Warda is in the 29-man preliminary squad of Egypt.

Prijovic is pre-selected by the Serbia-coach for the 2018 WC. He is just one of three attackers that got a call-up. Have to mention that the current squad is 27 players. 4 must be cutted. Normally he will go to Russia, unless their coach has a 6-4-0 line-up in mind.
