CL–QR3-L1: PAOK - Spartak Moscow (08-Aug-18, 20:00 EEST)
Dutch Eagle replied to Blackhawk's topic in PAOK FC
Was looking at the disciplinary section on the site of UEFA about how and what with the cards in Q2 (but couldn’t find anything) and saw this: Match: 2017/18 UEFA Europa League Round of 32: Athletic Club - FC Spartak Moskva (1-2) Charges against FC Spartak Moskva: - Setting off of fireworks – Art. 16 (2) (c) DR - Crowd disturbances – Art. 16 (2) (h) DR - Throwing of objects – Art. 16 (2) (b) DR Decision The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has decided: - to fine FC Spartak Moskva €55,000; - to ban FC Spartak Moskva from selling tickets to its supporters for the next three (3) UEFA competition matches which the club will play as the visiting team. The third match in which the Russian club will serve a ban from selling tickets is deferred under a probationary period of two (2) years. So all tickets can be sold to our own fans. -
Apollon won 3-1 in their homegame and advanced with an aggregate score of 5-2. Opponent in Q3 of EL will be the conquerer of Atromitos: Dynamo Brest of Belarus. First game will be on Cyprus.
-
Yes they would keep them apart. Happened a year or two ago in semis of EL. Only a final can't separate them, but then it is 100% sure on neutral ground. Only draw is for first home-leg.
-
APOEL lost 2-0 today and played awful from what I heard and read. As they won 5-0 at home they advance to Q3 with an aggregate score of 5-2. Next week they will play against Hapoel Be’er Sheva. First game away.
-
AEK Larnaca - Dundalk 4-0. 4-0 on aggregate. Goals Trickovski (2), Chamorro and Tomas. In Q3 AEK will play against Sturm Graz of Austria. First leg is away.

How to Attend A PAS Giannina Friendly Game
Dutch Eagle replied to FrappeFetish's topic in PAS Giannina FC
Normally you go an hour before the kick-off to the stadium and you buy a ticket. Just make sure you got your passport or tautotita if you are a Greek citizin to get in as they are obliged to registratie you (but maybe not for friendlies). The site has no other information than this: https://pasgiannina.gr/agones/στο-πεακι-ανατολής-το-πασ-γιαννινα-παν/ That is a game on August 4th, but it is not in the stadium of PAS, but in Anatoli. Hope you can enjoy a game.- 1 reply

Just got that conformation too. Has to do with the seeding-thing combined with the Rus/Ukr-thing. Only thing to draw is who plays home first. Hope you can watch the game there, BT!

Monday is the draw for PO CL (and EL). We will be probably paired with either the winner of Benfica-Fenerbahce or Standard Liege-that Dutch club. This because UEFA is avoiding Russian-Ukrainian ties.

Greece country coefficient

And a sure spot in GS (EL if they are eliminated in Q3 or PO, CL if they do the trick). Hope Atromitos and Asteras do their duty to win and progress. Need to be #15 or higher to have 5 clubs in Europe and our #2 in CL League Path. On the other hand if we are #16 or lower we will have 4 teams in Europe but points will be divided in 4. Usually the fifth spot in Europe goes to the likes of Xanthi, Panionios, Asteras and Atromitos that do not collect (enough) points for Greece. -
CL–QR3-L1: PAOK - Spartak Moscow (08-Aug-18, 20:00 EEST)
Dutch Eagle replied to Blackhawk's topic in PAOK FC
Does anyone knows what will happen with the cards? We collected some but Spartak did not play and has no player with cards? Or do they carry their cards from their last campaign? -

Our history against Russian clubs could be better if we skip the results against Kiev. Then they were Soviets and now Ukrainians? -
CL–QR2-L2: FC Basel - PAOK (01-Aug-18, 21:00 EEST)
Dutch Eagle replied to Blackhawk's topic in PAOK FC
We played at times very well. The goal of Prijo was a beauty. Paschalakis was great when needed. But we need to improve to beat the Russians. There were also some bad moments that must be avoided next week(s). -
Since when is it obligatory to have a TV-contract to start the season? And why don’t they accept the help? Ah, I know otherwise they can’t complain. Winers. Greece is not the only country having problems finding money. Even AS Roma did not have a sponsor on their shirt till the quarter final of CL against Barca last year. Most of the teams are “sponsored” by the betting-company. No-one is interested or has money. Deal (with it) or shut up and pexe balla. Just start the season and every time they don’t show up: -3 points. Even if two of those teams play eachother. We can not allow to be hostaged by those clubs/the minority. It is also not good for the Greek teams in Europe (that includes Atromitos) and the NT as the Nations League starts early September.

The draw for round 1 will be on August 13th at 12:00 EEST at the offices of EPO.

CL–QR2-L1: PAOK - FC Basel (24-Jul-18, 20:30 EEST)
Dutch Eagle replied to Blackhawk's topic in PAOK FC
All reports say the attendance was 24,670. Looked sold out to me. -
FC Basel won it’s first point in the Swiss Super League with an away-draw against Neuchatel Xamax. Noah Okafor scored their goal (0-1). Xamax equalised in 86’ to make it 1-1. Samuele Campo was sent of in 90’ with two yellows. And that after being subbed in in 70’ for Ricky van Wolfswinkel.

Giorgos Katidis ‒ (Now Playing for Irodotos)
Dutch Eagle replied to pao123's topic in Greek Players Abroad
Katidis now plays for promoted 1. FK Pribram in the Czech Fortuna Liga. -
At PAOK we have no tradition of a special song for a goalscorer like in other countries. When I saw Jaba playing (live against Antwerp and on tv against Basel) I imagined he could be the fans favorite soon. And he has the perfect name. This song suits him and almost his name:

CL–QR2-L2: FC Basel - PAOK (01-Aug-18, 21:00 EEST)
Dutch Eagle replied to Blackhawk's topic in PAOK FC
Biseswar trained on the field today, but it was a personal programm. Hopes he makes it for the Wednesday-game. He is the only one who knows how to read the game and he can give some assists (to Jaba). -
Bravo re Pashalaki, pes ta!
-
Was also hoping they would let him be in charge till the return. Stats indicate that there is no shock-effect for the long term. Just an effect for the first games as players want to present themselves to the new coach.
-
I'd rather seen that they had collected some vital points for our coefficient with a sneaky 0-1 or 0-0. Doing themselves and Greece a bigger favor than scoring and not defending.
-
APOEL - Flora Tallinn 5-0. Tie is over. Next week the subs can play and clinch a place in Q3 of EL against the loser of Dinamo Zagreb vs Hapoel Beer-Sheva.
-
Zeljeznicar - Apollon Limassol 1-2. A good result for Apollon.
-
Dundalk - AEK Larnaca today FT 0-0.
