1. gobble gobble easily had the most chances although given the hostile environment Hellas did well. That element over there will always show it's true colours given a chance. They booed the minute silence for the French. Hope the mongrels have a massive earthquake over there.
2. Hellas 2-1 over gobble gobble. Pirlo/Tzioli to be a surprising starter for this one and set up both goals. Like to see Tzanetopoulos in the squad ahead of KPaps. if Luxenbourg were to play Faroe Islands, I would go Lux 5-4.
3. More importantly, God bless the French victims, Hellas going over in Turkey, Socceroos going to Bangladesh and to all You souvlakia that post here and disagree with me often.
4. Need Fortounis, Mantalos Giannou, Ninis and Manolas (his legend keeps growing) to grace us with their presence against goble goble. Still got a man-crush on Maniati, hope he gets back to the team and continues to tell off his teammates and the refs alike.
5. Georgie, the Italians will say outright that they are the best. They stick even when they criticise each other fille. Canada excellent too.
6. If Hellas lose to goble goble 4-0 it's because of this. Let me explain it in this way; In my work place, which I've been for 15 years, I observed over and over that the Anglos stick solid, the Polynesians stick solid, the Mid-Easterns stick solid and the Greeks stick with those who it suits individually, no passion or loyalties in general. Turks will have a ton of spirit, the Greeks will smoke cigars, post selfies and tell the girls they play ball for the country.
7. The common theme is becoming more evident that when Serg Markarian took off Fetfa for Kats and the Skibb took off Pelkas for Pirlo, they gave up trying to score, but tried to shut out these respective matches, but were not able to.We can't shut out a match cause international teams find ways to score anyway, they keep up the intensity. How can you have a team with Three DM on at the same time?!.<> Happened on multiple occasions. Same and wrong tactics from pedestrian coaching. What sort of Klappa does that ??!><
8. Is the Skibb talking his team up about the first 60 mins, or are some of the posters on the forum too hard markers. Who is the most accurate. I read that the players were sub-par throughout the match. Is this just frustration from posters, cause if we won at the end, the team would of then been described by some as not so bad after-all, I reckon.
9. We play goble goble soon and hope Pelkas, Petsos and Ninis would be the way to go. Arse of a time to be without Fortounis and maybe Mantalos right now.
10. A shrewd coach would look at this campaign, then disreguard any advances by epo, look at what players have any improvement left, through consultation with those in the know. His analysis would then indicate, Vyntra, Moras, Tzioli are the wrong side of thirty. Toro, MItroglou, Karnezi and Tzavella haven't got further improvement. On thin ice to go to the next level would be Karelis and Samaris. and K Paps. Then bring together a squad. The Greece team are constantly brought together 10 days too late, I don't care about club commitments. Could Not give a right royal toss actually! Chemistry together as it is More important than the friendlies. Experience is overrated 60% of the time. Look at new athletes that come along and whoop older experienced guys, still trying to live in past glories. The Skibb is not a shrewd coach based on that, wet behind the ears and yet to win respect. Imagine bringing on Tzioli for Pelka.
11. Tzioli in for Pelkas, a narrow second to Katsouranis in for a white hot Fetfa a while back. Skibbe gets silver for the m#$%! coaching decision award. Markarian keeps gold. Ranieri's Leicster stil running hot, proves he can coach and some Greek players are the problem.
12. So there's the blueprint Vyntra and Tziolis/Pirlo co-captains going fwd.
13. Hope Tziolis gets to wear the armband when he gets on in the 70 minute mark. Manolas's star keeps growing the more he doesn't play. He has been touted as a captain now. If he misses another six games, he will run the EPO as well.
14. Based on that interview, we may have landed the best coach of his era. The Skibb.
15. What is the difference between an AM and a second stiker? A DM, someone in a holding position and the old sweeper? Just different terminology I would say. Why are the left/right backs the fullbacks when the centre-backs are at the back too? Any further back, they'll be on top of the keeper. They are all fullbacks surely.
16. Michalis Skibbe may speak with Rehagel to get an insight into the culture and team dynamics with regards to Greek national teams eg. Mitro's non-stop running game and what side Klaus wears his fringe and Tziolis's identical game style to Pirlo etc.
17. Greece soccerway has the squad.
18. Seen the squad, Tziolis, Moras and Vyntra-all in it. Ye! Usual faces.
19. I mean so they can start this new campaign for next year with the new coach, trying to implement new strategies, subtly ofcourse. Multiple training sessions and then the actual game, imitating professional-like environments fille.
20. Glad to see our ethniki are steeped in tradition-in picking the squad on the 11th, to then assemble and play on 13th November.
21. Do smoking cigars in public give our focussed and determined players beer-guts?
22. The contrast was amazing watching tachtsidis cut through the middle and influence that last match vs Hungary. Wish Tsanas and co had the forsight to play him earlier on. Then you look at how ineffective Tziolis was at DM, total contrast. Taxi was like Ronda Rousey and Tziolis was like watching me in my Tarocach or Connor gear, going to a nightclub trying to pick up a 20-something year old chick and not being so effective na poume.
23. Moras and Tziolis should be up here with us on the lounge chair posting opinions, or in the park in A grade playing in front of relatives and girlfriends now brah. Samaris is still trying to prove himself as far as is evidenced on the pitch. Petsos for DM for passing range and some vision, or Kpaps if you want just a really good stopper- as was needed against Hungary's Nemeth-I think. Maniatis would pick up his ball and go home if he was to play as LB too. Need more speed @ RB nowdays. Toro might play further in perhaps? Pelkas has shown already he should be one of the first 5 chosen in the starting team. Ninis has it all to do atm.
24. M Bakakis can play RB
25. Samaris will be 27 by the time the qualifiers start. If his form in the friendlies coming up, remains where it's been, he should be moved on. I would even bring Maniatis in if we go for an over 25 player. Petsos might be the future of this team.
