  1. Own goal, but 100% creation by Konstantelias.
  2. Thank god for no VAR as it appears the player was on side.
  3. Should have been an easy afternoon after going ahead 1:0 for PAOK but we make it difficult, and I am not sure we can last in the second half without conceding another goal. Our defense is laughable. Michailidis needs to come out at halftime. He already has a yellow and is liable for the Beitar goal. Baba and Zivkovic our best players in first half.
  4. Own goal by Beitar. What a gift.
  5. Parked bus by Beitar. We will have difficulties scoring.
  6. Possible lineup hinted by Lucescu: --------------- Kotarski --------------- Kedziora - Ekong - Michailidis - Baba ------ Augusto -------- Schwab ------- Narey ------- Taison ------ Zivkovic --------------- Thomas ---------------- Most likely last game for Augusto in PAOK jersey, specially if we don't qualify. Also, I would have started somebody else instead of Brandon Thomas as forward. It will be tough, but I think we will manage to qualify.
  7. PAOK turned down a 1.5 mil offer from AC Milan for Tzimas. PAOK is only considering offers over 8 mil.
  8. The rest of the jerseys for this season:
  9. Good points by paokarag4, but Lucescu does not help himself out either. He kept insisting on re-signing and using players such as Biseswar and El Kaddouri with poor results. Also one of Lucescu's biggest faults is that he is very predictable, which opposing coaches easily identify and adjust their strategy accordingly. He sticks strictly to the 4-2-3-1 formation. How about throwing in a second striker when the opposing team plays with 10 man for almost 80 minutes. And everyone knows that the first sub will happen at the 60th minute mark.
  10. From what I hear Siopis is a die hard PAOK fan, but I would still not want him on the team. Definitively not for the money that he is asking (1 mil +). For that kind of money I think we can find a much better player.
  11. It's time for the team to actually play like PAOK and go to Jerusalem and get a convincing win. But for that to happen we need somebody to score a goal. Hey Lucescu, how about playing with two strikers. What a novel idea. Augusto and Vieirinha are available for the game. Augusto will be a big help in midfield as long as his mind is on the game and not his possible transfer to Nantes.
  12. Did not see the game, but from what it looks we are playing the same shitty game that we played at the end of the last season. The team is so predictable. Unfortunately we are stuck with Lucescu until the end of the season. We need a new coach that will come in and shakes things up.

  14. As a result of reaching the final of the Water Polo World Cbhampionships, the men's Greek national team also secured automatic participation in the Paris Olympic Games.
  15. Six Greek athletes have secured participation in the 2024 Olympics: Track & Field Miltos Tentoglou - Long Jump Antigoni Drisbioti - 20 km Walk Swimming Apostolos Christou - 100 m Backstroke Anna Doundounaki - 100 m Butterfly Shooting Anna Korakaki - 10 m Pistol, 25 m Pistol Christina Moschi - 10 m Pistol, 25 m Pistol Also Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari are almost certain to participate unless they manage to fall out of the Top 100 rankings in tennis.
  16. We turned down even the 2nd offer by Nantes for Augusto. Worth 5 mil this time. Apparently we are holding out for 7 mil. Either way I think Augusto will be sold sooner or later. Hopefully we will have a replacement ready right away.
  17. During Syriza you were also robbed of double by paper AEK. The only good thing Syriza did was to create a law for that allowed PAOK to write off the debt without paying the accumulated excessive interest. Didn't really matter who was in power when North Macedonia became the name of Skopje. It's the US, NATO and the EU that forced that agreement down out throats. It would have happened even if KKE was in power. If I remember correctly Mitsotakis promised to abolish the North Macedonia agreement if and when he becomes the prime minister. So far I don't see him having the balls to talk back to his puppet masters.
  18. Absolutely not! No way should PAOK be depended on some crooked politicians, and definitively not the party that tried to relegate you to the lower divisions. Savvidis was quite clear when he announced that the team needs to become self sufficient. The sooner that is achieved, the better for some investors to come in and purchase the team from Savvidis.
