  1. This will be the second time we will meet Beitar Jerusalem in European competition. First time was in 2000-2001 in Round 1 of UEFA CUp PAOK - Beitar 3:1 Beitar - PAOK 3:3
  2. And the draw is PAOK - Beitar Jerusalem First game at home.
  3. One of the top two would be preferable, but we will end up with Levski.
  4. Also Zivkovic is a starter in the game with Bulgaria and he's playing quite well.
  5. Draw for Round 1 was made today. The final list of possible opponents as a result of this is as follows: Qualifying Round 2 (PAOK is seeded) - July 27/August 3: Petrocu Hincesti MOL 6.500 FC Drita KOS 6.500 Vojvodina Novi Sad SRB 6.475 Adana Demirspor TUR 6.420 FC Luzern SUI 6.335 Vorskla Polatava UKR 6.000 Bohemians Prague CZE 5.810 AGS Aarhus DEN 5.565 Beitar Jerusalem ISR 5.000 Hammarby IF SWE 4.750 Kalmar FF SWE 4.750 Levski Sofia BUL 4.500 Zalgiris Kaunas LIT 4.500 Pogon Szczecin POL 4.150 Zalaegerszeg TE HUN 4.125 Kecskeméti TE HUN 4.125 DVSC Debrecen HUN 4.125 Sepsi OSK ROM 4.100 Gabala FK AZB 4.000 FK Borac Banja Luka BOS 4.000 CSKA Sofia 1948 BUL 4.000 Sabah FK AZB 3.325 Ordabasy Shymkent KAZ 2.525 FK Aktobe KAZ 2.525 NK Celje SLO 2.500 FK Auda LAT 2.125 Differdange 03 LUX 2.000 Torpedo Zhodino BLS 1.975 winner: Haka Valkeakoski (FIN) - Crusaders FC (NIR) winner: HB Torshavn (FRO) - Derry City FC (IRL) winner: MSK Zilina (SVK) - FC Levadia Tallin (EST) winner: Panevezys (LTU) - FC Milsami Orhei (MDA) winner: FC Tobol Kostanay (KAZ) - FC Honka Espoo (FIN) winner: KF Dukagjini (KOS) - Europa FC (GIB) winner: Penybont FC (WAL) - FC Santa Coloma (AND) winner: B36 Torshavn (FRO) - Paide Linnameeskond (EST) winner: Gzira United FC (MLT) - Glentoran FC (NIR) winner: Balzan FC (MLT) - NK Domzale (SVN) winner: Ararat-Armenia FC (ARM) - KF Egnatia (ALB) winner: FK Zeljeznicar (BIH) - FC Dinamo Minsk (BLR) winner: La Fiorita 1967 (SMR) - FC Zimbru Chisinau (MDA) winner: KF Tirana (ALB) - FC Dinamo Batumi (GEO) winner: Vikingur (FRO) - Inter Club D'Escaldes (AND) winner: FC Progres Niederkorn (LUX) - SC Gjilani (KOS) winner: KA Akureyri (ISL) - Connah's Quay Nomads FC (WAL) Draw for QR2 is tomorrow, June 21, 2023. Prior to the draw teams will be divided into 9 groups. I am going to venture a guess the group of teams that could be the possible opponents for PAOK. This is just a guess on my part: Adana Demispor (TUR) winner: Panevezys (LTU) - FC Milsami Orhei (MDA) Kalmar FF (SWE) DVSC Debrecen (HUN) FC Auda (LAT)
  6. PAOK will probably finish 4th place once the fake Iraklis is deducted 9 points.
  7. That's correct. In men except for maybe Douvalidis in every other track race we fair quite badly. Our star athletes will have to place at the top to grab those points, but I see only Tentoglou getting first place. It will be very tough to stay in the top division.
  8. Looks like Manolo Gabbiadini is our no. 1 target for the striker position. Apparently PAOK people traveled to Italy for negotiations. Reports are the sticking point is the length of contract. Player wants 3 years and PAOK is offering 2+1. Salary would range between 1.3 - 1.7 mil depending on the type of contract.
  9. Vlachodimos, Baldock, Mavropanos, Chatzidakos, Tsimikas, Kourbelis, Bakasetas, Mandalos, Masouras, Pavlidis, Pelkas
  10. And to think about it, we actually paid money to Giannina for Kargas only to dump him after one season. Planning at its best. There is just no way a team will pay money for Kargas knowing that he is not wanted by PAOK. I think in his case the best case scenario is a loan to a team that will pay for half of his salary. Several team come to mind (Tripoli, Panserraikos, lamia, Giannina, etc.) As for selling players I think at least one will be sold this transfer period from this list: Zivkovic A. Konstantelias Koulierakis Augusto Narey Kotarski Ingason Zivkovic the most likely sale, Ingason the least.
  11. Mbaye Diagne from Senegal is the latest rumor for the no. 1 striker position. Last season in Turkey he scored 23 goals for Fatih Karagumruk.
  12. SEGAS has announced the Greek squad for the European Team Athletics Championships – Group A Silesia, Poland (June 23-25, 2023) Countries taking part: Poland, Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, France, Portugal, Czech Republic, Holland, Switzerland, Turkey, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Greece The last 3 in the standings get relegated to the B Division. 15. Talichmanidis, out 3rd goaltender who never plays for the first team, is ready to sign a 3-year contract extension.
  16. Was hoping to play different teams than the ones mentioned above. Looks like we play the same teams each summer.
  17. Looks like Brandon Thomas renewed for PAOK for 2 additional seasons. PAOK had a preliminary agreement with Krmencik, but apparently Brandon Thomas agreed to stay with the same money that Krmencik was going to get. As a result of this Krmencik decided to sign with Apollon Limassol.
