First game of the final against Olympiakos tomorrow at 20:00 Greek time.
-
It was another thriller last night/early morning. The game actually ended at 1:30 am in the morning local time. Darling was great once again, and should get the start again.
-
He didn't really have enough games to prove himself in my opinion. He did make a mistake on one of the goals against Panthrakikos, and since that game he has been benched by Georgiadis. Rumors are that Georgiadis does not like him and it appears he might be history with the team. I think the reason is that he came in under Anastasiadis.
-
Costa was injured, but should be ready by Sunday. I think your first quartet is the most possible setup.
-
Vitor, Rat, and Papadopoulos will miss the game due to red/yellow cards.
I'd like to see the defensive lineup in this game.

Sunday we play PAS Giannina at Toumba in an early game. Hopefully we can continue on winning.

The main thing is to keep as big distance from the 5th place team, so we get as many points as possible in the playoffs. If the playoffs started today we would have 2 points, same as Panathinaikos. Unless Panathinaikos self-destructs we will have the same points going into the playoffs.
What other teams do we want in the playoffs? I would prefer PAS Giannina over Atromitos. Looks like Tripoli is losing form. They are losing 4:0 at Veroia.
-
Andre Ayew from Marseille is the latest rumor.
-
Easy win (3:0) for us. On the way to the final where we will play Olympiakos for the title.
-
Easy win against the Bucks in the first game of the playoffs. This should be an easy series for the Bulls.
-
Convincing win yesterday. I see this ending up in 5 games. Six tops. I'd go with Darling in next game again.
-
What an ugly win.
-
Series tied 1:1 after a dismal performance by the Hawks. Still don't understand why Darling did not get the start after a great goalkeeping in the first game.

19 players have been selected for the game. Excluded were Maduro, Salpiggidis and Papagiannopoulos (he has played his last game for PAOK already).
-
It definitively has been a great series. I expect a good game on Monday.
-
Prosecutor Panagiotis Pouliou has released his findings concerning the 2011 match fixing/betting scandal and has proposed that the following 93 are being accused of taking part and should stand trial. Some of the notable people in question are in bold.
-
ice hockey? i've been playing for a few months, do you think i could get a try out at PAOK?
I am sure you can, although I don't know the state of the team right now. If you check their Facebook page, it looks like they are focusing introducing the young kids to the game.

Killed us today
We just have better team right now. The series should have not gone so far. Everything will be resolved in game 5.

PAOK's men's volleyball team is currently involved in the Final Four of the Greek Volleyball Championship. In the semifinal stage we are playing Panathinaikos, and after 4 games the series is tied 2:2. The final game of the series will be played in Thessaloniki and the winner will got to the final, where they will face the winner of the Olympiakos - Syros semifinal.
BTW PAOK volleyball is this years Greek Cup winner, when they defeated Olympiakos in the final.

Have not been there since 2004. It's about time for a visit. Have you made it to the top of Orliakas?
-
Great win by the Hawks in double overtime, despite being down 3:0 after the first period. Great move by Quenville replacing Crawford with Darling in the second period, who made over 40 saves after coming in.

Looks like the Greek referees might strike this weekend. They have announced that if the investigations involving refs does not end they will not show up for the games.
In other Greek football news, the Greek government is going ahead with new laws concerning football in particular and sports in general. if it is voted in current form, UEFA and FIFA will expel Greek teams from all international competition. Olympiakos is already putting pressure on the parliament not to vote for this law in its current form. Panathinaikos who has been advocating string measures seems to be changing their stance, with Alafouzos saying that he will leave the team if Greek teams are expelled from Europe.
