Unbelievable.
Penalty for Ajax
-
That was close.
It was a hand ball but the English ref did not call anything. Almost resulted in the tying goal.
-
Another big chance.
-
What the F*** Klaus.
-
Possession is 72 - 28 for Ajax
-
That would have put the game away.
-
You can't lose a chance like that Klaus.
-
I don't understand why we are sitting back so early.

Squad for the game announced by Ivic. No Pelkas and no Pereyra, so pash's (and mine) dilemna is solved.
Here is the squad:
Glykos, Brkic, Leovac, Kitsiou, Matos, Tzavellas, Malezas, Canas, Crespo, Tziolis, Sakhov, Charisis, Cimirot, Bisesvar, Mystakidis, Campos, Rodrigues, Klaus, Koulouris
One player will be cut from the squad on game day.
This pretty much confirms that he will start with the same lineup as in Amsterdam.

I bought some in the past, and I did not have to size up. However they were Nike. The new shirts are Macron, and their jerseys definitively needed size up.

Does anyone know if Laola will continue to broadcast the Greek 2nd division games?
Remains to be seen, but considering that they were using the OTE Sport feed to show the Football League and Greek Cup games, it probably does not look good. OTE TV did not renew the contract to show Football league games for the upcoming season.

He's neither a dekari nor a CF. That's why Ivic has a tough time finding a spot for him on the team and excluded him from the first game, even though he would have been the perfect player to start instead of Klaus in that game in my opinion. I just hope Bisesvar was game ready, which would give Ivic another option.

Here is how things are shaping out so far for future seasons as far as Greek participation in European competition is concerned:2016-2017: Current season in progress. Greece finished in 13th place giving us 2 team in CL qualifying, 3 teams in EL qualifying2017-2018: Greece finished in 14th giving us the same amount of teams as the current season in progress.2018-2019: Greece is currenly in 14th place, 0.363 points behing Holland in 13th place and 0.172 points ahead of 15th place Croatia and 1.275 points ahead of 16th place Austria2019-2020: Greece is currently in 14th place, 0.549 behind Holland in 13th place and 0.15 points ahead of 15th place Croatia and 0.425 points ahead of 16th place Austria.2020-2021: Greece is currently in 15th place, 0.733 points behind Holland (14th), and 0.425 ahead of Czech Rep. (16th).2021-2022: Greece is currently in 23rd place, 1.4 points behind Liechenstein (15th)It's pretty obvious we need to start accumulating as many points as possible. I think cracking the 12th position, which guarantees a direct entry into the CL group stage is almost unatainable for the next 5 season. We are lso running a real possibility of falling out of the top 15 which guarantees 5 teams in Europe and 2 teams in CL qualifying.

If Pereyra plays, there is no reason for Klaus to play. It should either be Klaus or Pereyra and a player in the "dekari" position, which should be Sakhov (or Pelkas) in my opinion. if we go down early, than throw in another forward and change the formation something like 4-4-2.
I hope we don't go out and play an attacking game right from the start. We have the option of playing for either a win or a scoreless tie. Ajax on the other hand has to score. If we let them have a possession game early, I think we will score on counters.

For some reason they did not show it live. Laola1 which also had it scheduled were not showing it when I tried it. Perhaps it was for technical reasons.
