I agree. Klaus would have been useless in this game.
-
At least this time we get an extra day of rest.
--Olsen--
--Vitor--Malezas--Tzavellas--
--Rodrigues--Tziolis--Cimirot--Leovac--
--Pelkas--Mak--
--Klaus--
I'm tempted to guess Kitsiou as RWB, but my guess is that Tudor doesn't think Rodrigues is too gassed to play. Tziolis surely must be on his last legs by now; has he missed a single match in the protathlima? Hopefully we'll see Cimirot continue this good form. I also think we'll see Mistakidis again, although who knows in what position.
Kitsiou is injured and won't play until 2016. I'd like to see Sabo instead of Tziolis, but we know this won't happen.

With his goal today Mak passes Vierinha and Giasemis and is now in 3rd place as the highest PAOK scorer in European competition. He has 10 goals. Salpi is 2nd with 14 and Klaus is 1st with 17 goals.

What worries me now is Monday's game against Levadeiakos. I am expecting a big letdown.
-
Maybe you guys did not notice but in the 2nd half Berbatov played mostly as defensive midfielder, as did most of the team. I'll take Berbatov over Klaus any day. Even at 35 years old.
-
Berbatov did not play badly. This was not a style of game that suits him anyway. He played injured as well.
The way Glykos looked at the end it looks like Olsen will be back as the main goalie.
I think we can all agree that Glykos was the MVP of the game.

Borussia Dortmund - PAOK 0:1
Big European win by PAOK.
-
Glykos can hardly walk. One more minute
-
10 more minutes plus injury time. Can we hold on?
-
Rodrigues in for Mystakidis. Good sub.

We are holding to our dear life. All we need now is one quick counter now that they are pushing up front.
-
Another great save.
-
Great save by Glykos. We need to hold them off for the first 15 to 20 minutes.
-
Halftime. 1:0 PAOK
We played quite well defensively holding them off. Only at the end of the half Borussia managed to get couple scoring chances.
The tactic set by Tudor (counterattacks) worked pretty well so far. Let's see what the 2nd half has in store.
-
Good save by Glykos followed by a good "save" by the post.
-
1:0 Mak.
Nice pass by Mystakidis.
-
Offside too bad.

Thanks pash.

Berbatov gave a vague answer today concerning all the rumors of him leaving the team in January. He basically said, that he is currently a PAOK player, that he is happy with the team and that all he wants to do is play. He said that we should concentrate on the present, since nobody knows what the future holds.
He also took blame for his reaction after being substituted in the Qabala game. He said he made a mistake, and eventually had a talk with Tudor about it and everything is ok.
Finally he said that he wants to play tomorrow, and that he would like to score and catch Stoichkov as the Bulgarian player with the most goals in European competition.

We can use every point we can get, because starting next season we are losing the 11.520 points from the 2011-12 season. Then it will take additional season to erase the 2.380 points from the 2012-13 Donis fiasco.
