Blackhawk

Offered his resignation. Time to bring somebody new to be the next scapegoat.

Leveque and Canas practiced today and are ready to play. El Kaddouri also practiced for the first time with the team. Wonder if he will be in the squad on Sunday.

There are a lot worse eliminations ...

It does not look right now that the games will be on Sport Plus in the USA/Canada and Australia. At least not according to their schedule on their web site. I contacted PAE PAOK asking them what's going on for the rights outside of Greece, and I got a reply that there will be an announcement concerning this on the team web site soon. We'll just have to wait and see.

Biseswar did not have a good game (but who did?), but with him on the field we at least had a little more possession in the midfield. Once he left the field everything collapsed.

I don't know. The whole Ivic situation is quite mysterious to me. There were some major behind the scenes events that went unanswered.

The problem with PAOK is that we have a rich owner who has no clue on how to run a football club. Throwing money at the problem is not solving anything. After winning the cup everyone thought that we turned a new page, but the planning for the upcoming season was a disaster. I still don't understand why Ivic did not continue as the team coach after a successful season. Not only that, the owner by-passes the Technical Director and brings in a coach because his buddy Vukic recommended him. The results of the coaching fiasco is today's elimination from the European competition as well as the poor start in the Superleague against Levadeiakos. It will take some time to turn this around, but unless Savvidis changes the way he runs the team I don't see any improvement.

With today's elimination, PAOK just shot themselves in the foot. Next season we would have dropped the bad season when we were eliminated from Rapid Vienna from the coefficient standings and if we would have made the group stage we would have moved up in the UEFA standings.

We need organization first. The team is in disarray. And now no decent player will come to the team without European competition.

Too little, too late.

Big mistake taking out Biseswar. Koulouris coming in.

Almost 3:0

2:0

I don't see this ending well.

That's going to be some 20 exciting minutes.

Wow. that's from offside position.

Common Mak. Got to be alert.

They really came out attacking.

NOVA and PAOK confirmed the TV deal. In the NOVA press release it states that they will televise all PAOK home games in Super league, preliminary rounds of UEFA competitions as well as friendly games. It also states that it includes international rights, which probably means that the SL home games will end up on Sport Plus.

Most likely.

The game will be televised on Sport Plus in US, Canada and Australia.

Hopefully we show up for this game.

It's not the end of the world, but if you want to win the title, these games are must win. I am afraid we are not ready to be title contenders yet.
