AS Roma started selling tickets online for the CL semifinal game Roma - Liverpool. The only problem was that the draw for the semifinals of CL has not taken place when they started selling the tickets. They went on sale 2 hours before the draw was made. Savvidis already did! He apologized and accepted the 3-year punishment. When will the refs do that for lying on match reports and refusing to appear before the judge. Also when will AEK people come out and say that they are happy to win the title on paper. The original verdict will not change in my opinion. The decision is more political than sports related. At best they might reduce the Savvidis punishment from 3 years to 1 year and perhaps eliminate the games without fans even though we will serve at least two of those games before the decision is handed out. Having said that, the best result of this circus from the past two months is to further expose the slime and corruption in Greek football/society. Also the refs responsible for this mess are probably banished from officiating, although with the Greek mentality you never know. Finally I hope that by now Savvidis has learned not to trust and make deals with slimy backstabbers such as Melissanidis, Alafouzos and drug dealers. He should also stop any help (financial or otherwise) to run the Superleague.

Bananas in order for the debts to be erased the team needs to drop down to amateur divisions and then come back under new tax ID number. B' division is not an amateur division.

Today is PAOK's appeal for the original fines concerning this game.. The hearing is still going on as I write this (around 11 pm in Greece) and PAOK introduced a video showing that AEK refused to return to the field to finish the game.

Speaking of guitarists of Greek descent, one of my favorites is Apostolis Anthimos. I have first heard of him back in 1970's when I lived in Czechoslovakia. The kseftila in Superleague continues. The teams that called an emergency meeting in order to pass a measure to save Panathinaikos from relegation decided to stay away from the meeting after they realized that they will not have enough votes to pass the measure.

With Chicago Blackhawks not in it I am not that much interested in the playoffs. I guess to make it interesting I will root for the Penguins since my son studies in Pittsburgh, but I doubt if they will repeat as champions.

Well he's definitively not worth the 6.5 mil the Germans are asking for him. Salary wise he might drop his price since he would come to his team, but I don't see that happening until he reaches at least 30 years of age.

I think we need to acquire one top player for each line. One CB, one DM and one forward. I don't think KPap will come. Way too much money and I don't even think he worth it.Look for him at PAOK when gets over 30 years of age. Hatcheridi is another unknown with a big salary. Only seen him play against AEK and he was mediocre at best. As for the forward I am pretty sure Prijovic will be sold, so we will need a top class forward. Of course Conte is not such a player, but few PAS games that I have seen this season showed me that he could be a good backup. Comparing him to Koulouris is like night or day. Not worth the 900K, but I am not the one with Ivan's walllet.

Apparently we are willing to pay the 900K buyout option in order to acquire Pedro Conte from PAS Giannina. H e has scored 18 goals this season for PAS.

Maybe he is vacationing in Austria.

Oscar Garcia the Olympiakos coach who should have won an Oscar for his acting in the PAOK - Olympiakos game was fired by Olympiakos today. I wonder if one of these days he will come out and spill the beans on what actually happened on that day?

Our appeal against the Superleague punishment for the PAOK - AEK game will be heard on April 11, 2018 by the EPO court of appeals.
