Apparently we are paying PAS Giannina 300K for the player. Not a bad signing to have as a back up until Michailidis returns from his injury. Still think that we need a top class CB to go with Ingason though.

Schwab is in Thessaloniki and is negotiating his future with PAOK. PAOK has offered him 1+1 contract with a clause that the 2nd year of his contract will be automatically extended if he plays at least 30 minutes in the 70% of the teams official games. Schwab is demanding 2-year contract without any clauses.

Zivkovic, Kurtic, Mihaj, and Lyratzis received extra vacation days since they played with various national teams and will not join the team tomorrow for the first practice session. Missing will also be Koutsias, who will join the national team for the Mediterranean games in Algeria.

Koutsias will be part of the national team that will take part in the Mediterranean games in Oran, Algeria which start on June 25 and finish on July 5.

Basically he sucked all last season at Slavia Prague, getting only minimal playing time on their 'B' team.

Once that was accomplished he has lost interest in running Greeksoccer.com. He tried to sell the domain, but apparently nobody showed any interest. Of interest is the fact that Greeksoccer.com in the beginning was hosted here at Phantis.com

Tachatos from the 'B' team did not renew his contract with PAOK and signed a 3-year deal with NFC Volos.

The draw could have been better (Union), but also worse (Djurgardens). If we really want to make our minimum goal (group stage), than we should not be worried about the caliber of the teams that were our possible opponents. If we don't go into the two games prepared both physically and mentally, than we will pay for it. Recent past (Ostersud) proves it.

The winner of the Floriana - Petrocub or Racing Union would be a good draw. Hopefully we can avoid Djurgardens. Given our luck however, that will be the opponent we will get.

Reports are that Paschalakis is close to signing a 3-year deal with Al Nasr worth 1.8 mil per season.

Iceland beat Cyprus 5:0 and we lost 2nd place in the process. Complete disaster. All we needed one point in the last two games to finish in 2nd place.

It's not Tziolis. It's Tzolis. Two different players although both used to play for PAOK.

Good luck to him. There is no way PAOK could have given him a 2 year contract at 35 years old as he demanded. Looks like we will have a completely new defensive line next season (except for Ingason).

Nasberg is signed. Boto said it himself. The things is that his contract with the Norwegian team ends on August 31. We are trying to negotiate with his current team to release him earlier. Unless that happens, don't expect an official announcement.

The government officially gave the green light for the New Toumba Stadium. The project now enters the next phase with PAE PAOK starting the design and construction phase. Some rumors have the US based company Populous as the company that will take on the design and construction. If things go as planned, the demolition of Toumba is expected to start in the summer of 2023.

The APOEL rumor might just be another trick by his agent, unless Crespo agreed to lower his demands. From rumors that I heard PAOK offered Crespo 1-year at close to 350K, but he demanded a 2-year deal.

Crespo has been talking with Apollon Limassol, but the Cypriots are not willing to pay him 600K for two years that he demands.

Rumors are that the President of the Republic signed the decree for the new Toumba Stadium. Team officials say that they have not seen any official paperwork yet. Once they receive it PAOK will inform the fans on the future steps towards building the new stadium.
