What a final! PAOK U17 - Olympiakos U17 4:5 in extra time. PAOK was leading 2:0 in the second half only to be tied 2:2 in the 80th minute. In extra time all hell broke lose with the score ending 4:5 for Olympiakos.

In the first semifinal Olympiakos defeated Aris 2:0. the winner of PAOK- AEK will meet Olympiakos in the final on Sunday at 17:00 EEST. PAOK is one of the 8 teams that are currently without a TV contract for the upcoming season. PAOK's 2-year deal with Novasports ended. Apparently we are talking with Novasports again and we are demanding a deal worth 10 mil at a minimum. In comparison Olympiakos has a deal for the upcoming season worth 15 mil. AEK and PAO who are also without a contract expect deals around 13 mil.

Signing Krmencik will be one of the biggest mistakes the team can make. The only reason some fans are salivating is because of that winning goal against Olympiakos in the cup final. After his loan with PAOK he was loaned to Slavia Prague where he was getting into fights and arguments with players an coaches. Eventually when his contract with the Belgian team ended nobody wanted him and he ended up playing in Indonesia of all places. That's telling me a lot about his abilities. I did not even know Indonesia had a football league. Stay away from him and sign a real striker.

I am hoping to catch a Banik game when I will be visiting Ostrava later this year. Kyriazis came back to competition with 75.90 meters in javelin. In other doping news, distance runner Kostas Gelaouzos will serve a 4-year ban for a doping offense. He will be eligible to return to competition in November of 2026.

Kyriazis, who was banned for 4 years is returning to competition. His first competition is the Throws Festival in Tripoli tomorrow.

Ponce is the player that played for AEK one season. Seemed to play well for them. Apparently we will to fork out 7 mil to get Dantas. For that money I would just make the announcement to bid him goodbye. Also, Brandon Thomas apparently demands at least 100K raise in his salary to stay with PAOK. If that is the case I think an official announcement to say goodbye to him is due as well. Specially when Krmencik is making social media posts that good things are coming for him.

She has not shown any improvement for the past year or so. And now she losing games in first round to a much lower ranked players. Also she is not getting any younger. I think her best days are over. It appears that she's more interested in her love life with the prime minister's son than working hard to win tennis games.

Her best years as tennis player are over. She will soon fall out of the Top 10 ranking and slowly start sinking in the rankings.

Kedziora was also told that his loan will not be renewed. Three down and more to follow I am sure. That Pukki rumor comes up every summer transfer period and remains just that, a rumor.

Kurtic and Oliveira were officially told that their contracts will not be renewed.

Forgot about Tzimas who is on loan to PAS Giannina, but he is a PAOK 'B' player so he probably does not stand a chance of making the senior squad.

Today Sznaucner was the coach during the game as Garcia was in Athens studying for his UEFA Pro coaching license. Maybe Malezas stays with U-19 and Sznaucner taking over 'B' team. I don't believe Garcia will stay with the team unless Lucescu quits and he takes over the senior team (highly unlikely). From what I hear Panserraikos is very interested to have Garcia as the head coach when they return to Superleague next season.

We only have 3 players on loan currently. Tsiggaras, Vrakas and Taylor. Taylor is probably coming from his loan to Shakhtar as well. If Tsiggaras is 100% healthy I expect him to be the only loaned player to remain on the team past the training camp. Not sure what the big shots have in mind with Taylor. I also want to see how they will handle Murg. Last year they tried to unload him unsuccessfully, and I think they will have a hard time doing it this season as well. Only an idiot would give up 500K per year just sitting on the bench.
