My main thing with this season - from the very first moment - was that we simply cannot get our act together defensively. Don't know if that's Lucescu, the lack of a Koulierakis replacement, or something else. Btw as for Giakoumakis - we'd be dumb to not try to sign him. First striker we've had that looks dangerous in years. AND he's Greek?? Wowzers.

Somehow, we have managed to fall ass backwards into avoiding the Conference League (or worse). Let's see if our boys can get three out of three now.

Panathinaikos getting a draw means they cannot end with more than 60 points (and therefore, cannot grab third place). For what it's worth. I, for one, do not think second place is out of reach for us. Next week will be enlightening.

Still in it, boys and girls. Oly drew on the same match day so the race is very much open. But as always, we make it hard on ourselves.

I take back all of the doubts I had when we signed this guy. He's like a slightly less scary Giakoumakis. Glad we have him for another year.
