In the right place at the right time

Probably Olympiakos, but the benefit of AEK making it through would be ensuring they have that extra game to play - any extra fatigue we can force upon our opponents is a good thing. AEK is more of a threat in the league, so we want them more tired, in other words.

A dusting of snow and the world ends.

I thought this was actually a very good little ad!
-
I don't read words, I only look at pictures. Dantas and Oliveira get the start after all!
-
Uhhh the Atromitos-AEK game is postponed because the goals provided by the hosts were too small??? Haven't seen this on a Greek site so far, so take with a grain of salt.
-
Most of the lineup selects itself. My only question would be who starts in the middle - Douglas and Schwab? Or Douglas and Dantas? My guess it'll be Douglas and Schwab, knowing Lucescu's preference for experience.
-
Schwab and Murg too!

May as well ask for a pair of walking, talking lederhosen to give their opinions on free kicks

Need to make sure the refs are not Slovak, Romanian, Italian, Greek, Uruguayan, Polish, or Russian. That covers most of the administration and coaches (senior and B team). Probably should play it safe and not let any refs come from countries where we have players. No Serbs, Portuguese, Spanish, Brazilians, Belgians, Germans, Georgians, Norwegians. Also shouldn't hire a Croat (Tudor might influence them), or Dane (Arnesen seems tricky). Amazing how much power Michel has, like, four years later.

Just signed for NFC Volos. A shame how that club has fallen apart over the past three months. The fact that they're still so high up the table is a testament to how good they were in the first half of the season.
-
It wouldn't be a bad move. He's been doing well and Oliveira is clearly exhausted!
-
Sounds like Brandon Thomas will be available for the derby. His punishment was reduced to one game, which was already served on Monday. Good news
-
Vieirinha out for 4-6 weeks. Tough to see him getting any more (meaningful) minutes before retiring, right?
-
So in other words, they're planning to not play the game? https://inpaok.com/760732/olybiakos-akomi-kai-chartopetseta-na-pesei-fygame/

Leo Matos, aka the greatest fullback to ever play for PAOK, will be in attendance vs Olympiakos.

Highlights weirdly hard to find on youtube. Here's a link to Novasports' vid: https://www.novasports.gr/web-tv/sport/podosfairo/event/super-league-1/highlights/video/12739843/paok-levadeiakos-3-2-hls/

Panathinaikos loses to Asteras and Kourbelis finally gets his red. Today is a good day!
-
A win is a win, but that was a wasteful game

Taison gets the start and Schwab is captain (well deserved) https://twitter.com/PAOK_FC/status/1620073384746057729?t=Xyj5kBnf3OtDNPKICB1qNQ&s=19

I completely forgot to check in on those rumors from a while ago - Vladan Ivic is, indeed, the coach for Krasnodar. Hope they're paying him well, to make being in Russia worth it.
-
Harsh! That Ntoi guy who plays for Olympiakos got a straight red the day before Thomas did - is his for three days too? Hmm..
-
Michailidis and Bradonjic are training with the senior team from here on out. Apparently Bradonjic scored 5 goals and got a few assists in the ten games he played with the B team. Very solid.
-
Apparently the tickets to this game are "buy one get" - you'll get a ticket to the Olympiakos game included. Fantastic idea in my opinion, should result in a packed stadium against a relatively poor team. They probably should try this kind of deal much earlier in the season too... I think with their recent form, it was likely to sell well anyway.
-
For sure. Was a real loss when he got injured and then fell out of rhythm. Brandon is going to miss Levadeiakos for some reason. This is so bizarre to me. Two different competitions, with punishments stretching across them? Seems so backwards. Either way, might mean the little guy gets a few minutes on Monday.
