The only notable Swedish name I can think of is Malmo (to a much lesser extent, AIK), so I can see your point. Which would you rather have? I remember on a recent trip to Volos seeing PAOK graffiti; is that something that should bother me? I think the team has been pretty open about wanting to increase its visibility and fan base.
I would DEFINITELY bring back Pereyra.
Kace fired his agent? That is awesome news. Might be a sign of intent on his part, a willingness to "play ball" with the team.
If we drop to 12, a playoff would make more sense to me. But I am very against the idea of meeting an opponent more than twice per season.
I'm not against the idea of having minimum standards for inclusion in the league - it would allow the smaller teams to still have a reason to compete (they can win the league, after all), but penalizing them for not investing in themselves.
Charisis spends most of his time injured, and I think Antonis is going to get loaned out. Leaves just Tziolis, Cimirot (also often injured) and Sabo (who sometimes is played in a different position). If we can't keep our strongest players, we have a problem.
On the horizon? This season has seen our squad get absolutely decimated with injuries, and I'm still pretty confident that we'll win the super bowl. It's true this is not the SL - with the pats, good coaching and a strong team will actually win something.
Do you see it getting better for you in the second half of the season? Our fearless leader believes our guys will finally gel and we might actually get out of this rut. I remain hopeful.
That's game. Finally, it's over.
What was the point of Melissas' time wasting? There were less than ten seconds left. The game would have ended almost immediately.
Tudor mentioned in the press conference a few games ago that when Tzavellas is concentrating on the game, he has enough passion to make him one of our most important players. Other times... (well, that was left unsaid).
