What a difference a single match day makes... 10. Turkey 36000 (4/5) 11. Czech Republic 32 575 (3/5) 12. Switzerland 31 675 (3/5) 13. Holland 27 863 (4/5) 14. Greece 26.500 (3/5) 15. Just finished watching this on demand (damn Thanksgiving). Accidentally clicked into this thread right at half time, saw we were up 2-1, and was dead certain we'd end up losing. Going into today, I was so sure that the end result wouldn't matter, since Liberec couldn't possibly win...right? I guess that shows what I know. We were a mess this whole game, but made Fiorentina (and their godawful goalkeeper) pay for their mistakes. Good poached goal by Shakhov, followed by a very calm and composed Campos goal. I hope this gives them both the boost they'll need to pick up their level of quality in the SL. Both hugely outshined by a wonderful individual effort by Rodrigues, who was WAY overdue for a goal in this tournament. The ref was garbage. Anyway, regarding scenarios for the next match day (because I think you guys are making this way more complicated than need be): Assuming Qarabag beats Fiorentina, they will be level on 10 points, but it is extremely unlikely that they'll overcome their goal difference - which will put them in second place. If PAOK wins and Qarabag wins, we will stay in third place, on 10 points. If Qarabag loses, a draw will be enough for us to get through. If Qarabag draws, we need a win. We are in EXCELLENT position to progress. I can't see Qarabag winning against Fiorentina, who will also want to keep themselves in first place for seeding purposes.

I agree. I don't like the idea of each team playing every other team four times in a season (on top of possible Cup games), but I'd accept that if it left us with a better league. The rot will continue regardless. I wonder how much the EPO paid Deloitte for this expert analysis? I've got some advice I could give these guys for free.

Ivic is DEFINITELY going to start Shakhov. Only question is if he'll have a dekari in addition. I highly doubt that... As for Thiam...I'd be willing to see him get a go at LW, but he's definitely not suited to play striker.

Whole rest of the team is coming on... Poungouras, Malezas, Mistakidis, Kitsiou, Thiam, Charisis, Korovesis
-
Pereyra, Biseswar, Shakhov in for Koulouris, Canas, and Pelkas
-
(five yellows in a friendly, wow)

I'm just tuning in to metropolis now. Apparently we have a ton of cards already. Here's the lineup, btw

Currently up 0-1, header by Pelkas.

80% of that team's passion comes from Tzavellas

Stunner of a goal by Tzavellas today. Wonderful curve.

Posts moved. The guy in the middle-right of that last pic looks like Tzavellas. No wonder he's popular.

Is this the same guy that was rumored last summer?

So he not only didn't want to play for us the first time, we're now going back for him AGAIN?
