Libero and Metropolis both covering Iraklis...

Goal Campos, 0-2

Warda scored in the 4th minute, I'm still waiting on the links to start working
-
Dead guy's lineup is spot on
-
That's a good lineup. Hopefully after Klaus accomplishes nothing we'll finally see the return of Prijovic
-
Here are the players that traveled with the team: Γλύκος, Μπρκιτς , Κίτσιου , Μάτος , Δεληγιαννίδης , Πούγγουρας , Μαλεζάς , Κρέσπο , Βαρέλα, Κάτσε, Σάκχοφ, Τσίμιροτ, Μπίσεσβαρ, Πέλκας, Ουάρντα, Ενρίκε, Κάμπος, Αθανασιάδης, Πρίγιοβιτς , Κουλούρης No Canas, as he's still hurt from the sprain he suffered vs PAO. I'm sure he'll be back for the return leg of that round.

Can't wait for the amateurs to shatter someone's knee again

Ahh that explains a few things. Do you remember what specifically our points deduction was for? As in, did our fans attack the refs? Honestly, "not being able to locate footage" sounds like a very, very easy way to get out of serious punishment.

So from what I understand: There were crowd troubles at the OLY-AEK game Some cops got hurt, some fans got hurt Tear gas was used? And something happened in the locker rooms? Am I missing something? There's a lot of coverage here but I'm not sure what's BS and what's not. I haven't watched any videos and the pictures I've seen have all been garbage, too. For comparison's sake, which game/season were we hit with these points deductions? I think the playoffs where Georgiadis was coaching us for his second or third time? And how do our fan's actions compare to what happened there? Obviously I'd love for Olympiakos to get the full six points deduction, but I have a feeling it'll be bumped down to three at most. Basically, for us to have a chance (assuming they don't lose either of their remaining matches), we need them to lose all six points. Thanks, Ivan, for not sending your team last season.

Leto is confirmed to miss this game. Also will miss their match vs Atromitos

Here's one that came out of nowhere - Saad Abdul-Amir. Plays DM for Al-Ahli and the Iraq National Team. I'd doubt this one is credible. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/saad-abdulamir/profil/spieler/173467 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saad_Abdul-Amir

Frankly shocked that article took so long to call him the Fulham Flop. It's his official title in the UK, after all.
-
Is there any chance their inevitable appeal will be heard prior to the season ending? If, somehow, they are slapped with six points...surely they'd want the correct teams in the playoff...right?
-
Blackhawk, if you could compile some stats on how often we do better after a return leg looks insurmountable, I will gladly send you a tsoureki. My aunt gave me four :(

So, rumblings that we are looking for a big name, but no actual names being dropped? What a shocker. Hellenic clickbait.
-
Brkic hurt his hip, but it doesn't seem serious. I'm guessing we'll see a few players sitting this game out due to accumulation of yellows (Leovac, Shakhov?)
-
Agreed. Even if it happens, wouldn't it go down next season?
-
inPAOK, in an article about foreign players, note that Jairo is not likely to come back to us next season. The club doesn't think he's good enough, though I'm not sure if that's a "for now" or if that's permanent. Assuming they keep him, we will have no room for any other non-EU players (we'd be at our limit), and we'd actually be over the limit if Pereyra comes back (which I'm sure he won't). Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Jairo is not brought back specifically because Michel already has his sights on someone. http://inpaok.com/347996/

Scored an absolute stunner today: http://www.foxsports.com/soccer/story/sokratis-borussia-dortmund-goal-video-frankfurt-bundesliga-highlights-041517?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

The U12s are headed to the Netherlands for a tournament, where Varela will also be to watch his son play. Dutch Eagle, will you be there to give him some emotional support?
-
I agree as well, a defense-first philosophy will lead to us losing. I think Ivic's mistake on Wednesday were the inclusion of Campos on the wrong side, the exclusion of Pelkas for so long, not playing Biseswar, and keeping Koulouris in when he clearly had no connection to his wingers/midfielders. The match in Toumba will be a different beast. At least by then, Prijovic will be back. It'll be hard, but it's not over yet.
-
They won 1-2, I wouldn't be surprised if Olympiakos makes it through. What's this I hear about crowd troubles? I wonder how many points they'll be deducted (or will we be receiving their punishment on their behalf?)

Shakhov needed x-rays for his ribs after this match, looks like he's okay. Canas sprained his ankle, but should be fine soon too.
