Goal by Henrique, unselfish assist by Klaus
-
Pelkas keeping on with our tradition of aiming for the sky -edit- managed to grab a screenshot of the attempt:
-
Now that would have been a hell of a flashy Henrique goal -edit- 13.5k watching the stream now. This might be getting more viewership than most of last season's early games.
-
Good run by Crespo to get the assist on an incredibly easy Prijovic goal. Nice blocking action by Klaus there as well.
-
Working for me, try refreshing. Henrique should have scored there.
-
Klaus starting as captain. Is he going to start scoring again?

Yup...I also think that Biseswar's fitness is not going to let him consistently make a run as winger. The guy just doesn't have the legs for it. Perhaps Stanojevic will surprise us with a 4-4-2 diamond instead...since he likes aggression, why not drop another midfielder for the attacking option? Personally, I think once he comes up against a team that parks the bus, he'll realize the that some players should play in their natural positions...and are too good to ignore.

Not worth the cash anyway. I say try out Siampanis and keep Melissas as third choice. Once Glykos is back, loan one of them out in the winter.
-
For our first friendly, apparently this is what Stanojevic has been trying out: --Siampanis-- --Matos--Varela--Crespo--Leovac-- --Cimirot--Shakhov-- --Henrique-- --Pelkas-- --Klaus--Prijovic-- Didn't PAO try playing without wingers for a season? Well, I foresee us doing equally poorly without a dedicated attacking midfielder.

Mexican press is saying today is the deadline that we've given to Ochoa for making his decision (though we haven't confirmed any deadline). Warda told some Egyptian news source that he wants to leave and that Grasshoppers was one of the teams that wanted him. Seems we're considering a loan with an option to buy. A shame this has to end this way, he has a lot of potential.
-
On the plus side, Pelkas will greatly benefit from this. Maybe Mistakidis and Deligiannidis as well.
-
At first I read that warda would be loaned out due to our getting Ochoa (non eu player limit). Now I'm reading it's because of a discipline problem. Does this have to happen every year?
-
Must be soon. We just announced (confirmed) that stoiximan.gr is going to be our new shirt sponsor (1.8mm/year for three years)
-
You're right, this would be a great combination. Hell, if he could do the same with Klaus in a 2-CF formation, imagine the Prijovic/Mak tandem with this new squad. OFI wants Deligiannidis on loan, though nobody else seems to want this to go down. I think the guy's too good to not get some playing time, but who knows if Stanojevic will actually use him.
-
Exactly the kind of player we needed, I'd gladly have him back. I wonder if Stanojevic would use him similarly to how Tudor did (centrally), vs just as a winger.
-
Katsikas has signed with Dynamo Bucharest. Good on him, hopefully he stays healthy.
-
If the intention is to sell Leovac next year, this might be to prepare him to be the #2 to Leveque's #1 next year. Assuming he lives up to the promise. Time will tell, I guess. I definitely don't think we'll hit 1.5mm for Ochoa, though. I'd be very surprised if he got with 100 grand of a million, in fact.
-
Reading on SDNA that Malezas got an offer from Anzhi. I'd be surprised by this move, I'm guessing the cash would have to be good for him to leave for a team that just barely made it out of the relegation zone last season.
-
I'm guessing we're aiming for 850-900k with the new offer, but who knows. 1.5 is a LOT for a keeper.
-
Has anyone been watching the confederations cup? I haven't seen any performances of Ochoa lately, but inPAOK is saying that we're going to "dramatically increase" our original offer of 650k. The player wants 1.5mm per year for two years. This would be a pretty big signing, if we made it.
-
Looks like Kitsiou also will be signing a contract extension soon (as he'd be free next summer). As part of the loan deal, Kitsiou has a buy out clause of 1.2mm with 20% resale, while Charisis is 1.5mm with 20% resale
-
Chatziisaias' one-year loan has been announced at Atromitos...same for Kitsiou and Charisis at their respective clubs Pereyra's current club is expecting to eventually get him on a free transfer, he'll be back in Greece by the end of the week for what will probably be one or two training sessions. Mak might end up back here because Zenit's new coach seems to want to bring in his own guys. Would be a loan with an option to buy.
-
That's a hell of an offer from Turkey
-
Kitsiou may be going out on loan to Groningen (Netherlands), leaving only Konstantinidis as backup to Matos. I think this would be a good move for all parties, assuming Kitsiou gets playing time. Similarly, Charisis is reportedly close to a move (also a loan) to Sint-Truidense, in Belgium.
