  1. I wasn't with you until you compared him to Campos. Now I'm back on your side. Convince me otherwise, Banana man!
  2. ^ there is nothing about that article that is surprising in any way
  3. Klaus is out (due to injury) as well. Here are the players: Rey, Melissas, Leovac, Poungouras, Deligiannidis, Matos, Varela, Crespo, Malezas, Shakhov, Canas, Cimirot, Pelkas, Biseswar, Campos Henrique, Mak, Koulouris, Priojovic I think the only question at this point is who will partner with Canas. If Stanojevic is more concerned with defense, I expect Cimirot to get the start over Shakhov. --Rey-- --Matos--Varela--Crespo--Leovac-- --Canas--Cimirot-- --Campos--Biseswar--Mak-- --Prijovic--
  4. Agreed, we won't accomplish much if only one team is getting wins. Fortunately there's a good chance that we'll see three wins out of four games this week.
  5. Now this has potential. Thanks for the heads up blackhawk
  6. Seeing as how there will probably be only three or four hundred people at the stadium, I'm sure I'll recognize you. Especially since I"ll be keeping my eyes peeled for a grown-ass family man who's flashing the camera.
  7. Press conference starting now. Let's hope someone asks why he refuses to play with a #10
  8. Bizarre that they'd try to save money on such a small contract when they are so willing to throw cash away on players like Warda.
  9. Pelkas is reportedly looking for a raise (the team is renegotiating his contract). Seems PAOK is playing hardball with him. I believe he is making 200k currently.
  10. This Mauricio guy apparently is our backup for that Kafou (Cafou?) guy, who just signed elsewhere. He's a free agent who recently played for Zenit: https://www.transfermarkt.com/mauricio/profil/spieler/53286 We're also still working on that Peruvian CB; I think we're waiting on Savvidis to return (on Thursday) before making the decision on what will hopefully be the end of our transfers for this summer.
  11. I think transfermarkt lists him there because they don't have a dedicated slot for wingback on their site. He'd be a pointless move on our side, I wouldn't hate to see him back but we have much more pressing concerns than that. Especially since Ivic and now Stanojevic are essentially trying to recreate Matos (and Vieirinha?) in the form of Deligiannidis...
  12. Some loans: Kakko has signed on with Nea Salamis. I believe they're one of Cyprus' "refugee clubs" ? Dimitriadis is also on his way to OFI
  13. Don't look at me, man - I *like* souroti!
  14. Prijovic won't be able to play every match. If Mak is just his partner, that would only leave us a disinterested Klaus...
  15. Warda on his way to Saudi Arabia (finally). Guy still talking s%$#! about Stanojevic. Jairo likely to be owned. He's not good enough for this team, really. Especially once Mistakidis is available (who I'd say is better both on the wings and centrally than he is). Interesting that we haven't heard anything about a CF yet. I was under the impression that Stanojevic would prefer Mak as a second striker and not a loan CF, but if he considers him a one-for-one replacement/backup for Prijovic, I guess that could explain the lack of news in this position.
  16. Bizarre that an entire article would just consist of a link to another article.
  17. Not sure how he managed it from that angle (and with the left foot), but scored today in a friendly vs Middlesbrough
  18. And that's game. Very disappointing, but I still can't see us being knocked out. Better position than against that Belorussian team a few years ago, at least.
  19. Nearly just got gifted the match
  20. Ahh Prijovic, that would have been incredible had he managed it...awful angle
  21. Big improvement over the last few minutes. If this doesn't make lineup choices more obvious to Stanojevic, nothing will
  22. OOOOH SNAP you're actually good luck!
