AEK has a two-game home fans ban. We play them in round 10, and amazingly this is one of the games that will be behind closed doors. Great timing for us. Their other home game is vs Atromitos on week 8 (the same day we play Olympiakos in Athens), so if everything goes well for us, the top of the table could see some shaking up. Let's hope our guys can capitalize.

Pelkas and Koulouris both signed new contracts until 2021 (I'm assuming until the end of the 20/21 season). Haven't read anything on the details, hopefully there are some decently high clauses.

Here's our list of players that will travel. Limnios injured during training, won't be joining. Also missing are Canas, Campos, Kace Ρέι, Πασχαλάκης, Λέοβατς, Δεληγιαννίδης, Μάτος, Κρέσπο, Σαμπράνο, Βαρέλα, Σάκχοφ, Μαουρίτσιο, Τσίμιροτ, Πέλκας, Μπίσεσβαρ, Βιεϊρίνια, Ελ Καντουρί, Μακ, Πρίγιοβιτς και Κουλούρης Methinks we'll have the same lineup as last week.

Not sure why Savvidis is saying he wants Lamprou back in January...the kid needs game time, and I don't see how we could accommodate even more wingers. As far as I know, Crespo/Varela/Canas/Shakhov/Campos were all tied to contracts that were at least three years long, right?

Seems their next coach has backed out of heading this team, due to his kid not wanting to move or something. Not going to affect us either way, but that's rough. I say sell the kid.

I could give two shits about Holebas. Stafylidis is the future and he will soon make Holebas look like month-old milk (if he hasn't already). I also don't buy that he retired due to call-ups for people with the "right" managers. He's had an attitude problem since the beginning. And like Manolas, once he got his move to a better league, he stopped caring. It's Tzavellas, Tziolis, and Maniatis that need to be kicked out. We only have room for one garbage midfielder on the team, and Skibbe has chosen Zeca for that role. And Fetfa? Get real. I don't get the ongoing hardon for this guy. Once he cares enough to join a competitive team, then maybe he can be considered. His past actions (and lack of work ethic) while at his last three teams tell you everything you need to know about him.

Sadly, I have a feeling Leovac will get a solid run from here on out. But against Larissa, there's really no reason Deligiannidis shouldn't get another chance.

Sounds like Campos won't travel for this game. Most of the other injured guys seem to be doing better, though I doubt Leveque will be there either.

I'm not saying he should be first choice. I'm just addressing what was written above; he's better as a winger. If he does continue playing well, however, the math around him playing should change. Stafylidis, incidentally, should be played where he belongs - as left back.

Pelkas is better on the wing than Mantalos, and has been playing well. Lazaros is a must-have for a call up, however. I've always liked that guy; it's a shame he disappeared after the WC.

Would like to see Pelkas called up. Finally has his mojo back.

Not saying he was amazing or even great. Just was not given much respect, esp his last productive years.

I was hoping Zambrano would be paired with Varela long term, they were very good together. Good to see them surpass my expectations.

Varela also called up for Cape Verde. Should be hearing about a few more soon.

Oly lost to AEK, sounds like their coach is getting sacked tonight. Would have preferred a draw but I think once Oly get their act together they'll be more dangerous, so this might be the second best result for us.

Lamprou scored again in their 3-0 win vs Larissa. Panionios is back ahead of us based on superior goal differential.
