PAO up 1-0 in the 56th minute (Villafanez). I think I'd prefer a draw in that game (just in case PAO gets their s%$#! together later in the season), but anything that takes points off of Oly is fine by me. Earlier in the day, Larissa also gave Levadiakos their first loss in this season's league. -edit- game ended 1-0

I think Biseswar for 65 minutes is better than most of our players for 90, regardless of pedigree.

I like how the creator of that video thinks adding some still shots of a cheetah makes little Fetfatzidis look faster. He has no place on this team. Neither does Tziolis (who was removed from PAOK precisely because he was not good enough).

Asteras is also ranked 15th in the league - this should not be a difficult game (though of course we'll make it one). -edit- Is Koulouris due to be back from suspension for this? Or did the cup match not count?

We need some fresh blood here. I know Blackhawk doesn't want experimentation until we have the necessary two wins in this group, but I think this lineup needs to reflect what we'll see next weekend. --Rey-- --Matos--Zambrano--Varela--Deligiannidis-- --Mauricio--Cimirot-- --Limnios--Biseswar--Pelkas-- --Prijovic-- I wouldn't mind Pashalakis and Malezas getting a start too. Hell, Poungouras should be more than enough to handle this team.

What exactly is your argument? That he's so good that it's pointless to criticize? Or that the game is entirely random once you get to a certain level, and so comparative skillsets are not worth discussing? It is absolutely not unfair to compare two "world class" players, especially when they go up against each other. For what it's worth, I thought he did very well. It's a harder job to defend. But where you seem to find it inappropriate to levy any criticism against him, I think it's just as silly for people on this forum to get offended at the same criticism.

Well people here keep saying that Sokratis is a world class defender, so it would stand to reason that criticizing him is appropriate. You can't hold him to one standard when he does well and then to another if he does not.

Atromitos, Xanthi, AEK, Panionios, etc, are just as likely to drop points as we are - even more so, I'd say. Olympiakos is the team that will see the biggest improvement over the long term, so anything that depresses their points total now will be great for us. I will agree that AEK's loss is a fantastic result for us though. Well done by Atromitos. Games for next week: PAO-OLY Xanthi-Atromitos Panionios-AEK PAOK-Asteras Tripolis Hopefully this will be the one game this season where PAO gets its s%$#! together. And draws.

If Atromitos takes points off AEK, it'll be, what, the fourth round in which we are given gifts? It's like the other teams are handing us the league and we keep trying to give it back.

Campos, btw, looked very rusty. I think Mak looked better than Vieirinha, but in retrospect Pelkas should have gotten the start. Biggest sin is still not starting Biseswar. I have a feeling the lineup we'll have for Wednesday's game will foreshadow what we'll see next weekend.

Leovac was recalled to his NT for their match vs us. Perhaps this will improve his psychology and we'll see the old Leovac again?

I do agree on El Kaddouri. The needs to earn his place there. Biseswar yet again made us look better when he came on the field.
