Tied for best option imo. Hope the team doesn't take it for granted

And already in the Netherlands, it seems. Out of curiosity, does anyone know how the logistics of players moving works out? Like, does the team have someone (or contract someone) to help the player find an actual home, show them around, etc? Or do they need to act like us mere mortals and figure it out themselves? I'm sure there are no shortage of English-speaking people who can help find apartments and so on, for example.

No way we're getting another striker. It would make no sense.
-
I think he's banked a grand total of like 40 minutes of playing time in real games (obviously from last season, when he came back from that...loan? pseudo loan? to Napoli). He makes a lot of mistakes and is kind of a lightweight in my opinion. Probably B team caliber for now, and hopefully he puts on some muscle over the next year. Nothing amazing at the moment (and I think the team was more keen on Konstantelias last year anyway). If we get another AM, I would imagine both would be shipped out (unless Biseswar gets cut after he returns looking like he's four months pregnant).

And he hath arrived: https://www.sport24.gr/football/paok-eftase-stin-thessaloniki-o-koyrtits.9297931.html

Didn't realize the game was so early so I watched a few hours later. Just some thoughts: Wild save by the goalie in the first half vs Zivkovic's very stylish double attempt I'm liking that Esiti is shooting a lot more these days Taylor definitely likes attacking Great corner from Murg to Oliveira for the goal (which was also great) SMOOTH goal by Murg I know you are all very excited to hear from me on this.

Hmm I wonder if this implies that he'll be playing the starting lineup for more than just a half? @PaokCTwill be very pleased with this lineup (I know I am!)... https://inpaok.com/693499/oi-skepseis-loutseskou-gia-to-filiko/ --Pashalakis-- --Soares--Crespo--Varela--Vieirinha-- --Swab--Esiti-- --Zivkovic--Kagawa--Warda-- --Swiderski--

Just from the perspective of knocking out teams representing countries that we need to overtake in rankings: FC Slovacko, NK Osijek, Novi Sad/Cukaricki (both Serbian) Other ones that would be nice to beat (but which would be much harder opponents): Hajduk Split, Lucerne, Limassol

Looks like some interesting news coming up fo the women's version of the Champions League. https://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/mediaservices/mediareleases/news/026a-12a4bd6c0d64-d1739ab2f8f7-1000--ground-breaking-partnership-with-dazn-and-youtube-to-bring-wome/ Relevant portion: So I guess we have two seasons where everything is available to be seen for free, then for the next two seasons only 19 games will be free but all games are viewable if you subscribe to DAZN? I don't even know what DAZN is but I'm guessing you can pay for the privilege of following them.

Just taking a guess, but perhaps he comes with a hefty wage and Parma is just thankful to get him off their books?
-
THANK GOD. I absolutely cannot stand that guy. Also, regarding PAOK TV: https://www.paokfc.gr/nea/20210715-ta-filika-proetoimasias-sto-paok-tv/

Glad you didn't spend time talking about the latest conspiracy theory (that Galatasaray and Warda are colluding to get him released so they can pick him up for free). I'm also not that worried about the result of the friendly. The first ten or so minutes were FUN to watch, thank you very much! One thing I'll note - if Lucescu gets as many people as he wants, then some of these starter-caliber guys are not gonna be here soon. Just too many players on the team for that.
-
Why would there be laughter? We wouldn't be talking about the size of your genitals or anything
-
Lucescu LOOOOVES them though. I'm fine with this as long as we don't mortgage our future doing it. We'll probably end up dumping someone like Tsinggaras though. Which would be a shame.
-
I'd take a loan. He's not young enough to build a team around, tbh
-
Hahahahaha Pashalakis is a loose cannon
-
Jeez guys, so harsh! PSV was tweeting about returning from their Germany-based training camp a few days ago so what do you expect? Of course they're farther along. I thought the team started extremely positively. Then the inexorable pressure began. I wouldn't expect Lucescu to start his "preferred" lineup until the last game or two of preseason. Lots of mixing and matching going on here. Lamprou tragic though
-
Hmmm...interesting duo up front. Will be nice to actually see Kagawa play though. I'm sure we'll have a completely different team to start the second half.
-
Lucescu is strict. Keep in mind we don't know what was happening leading up to the incident. The neckbeards who write these articles collectively possess the intellect of a trashcan and the journalistic integrity of what's in the trashcan. My prediction: Warda and Lucescu kiss and make up, then in a month it happens again and he gets released.
-
Here are the highlights. I cannot believe Biseswar just stood there and watched the guy on the first goal. Pathetic
-
I was taking a look at their recent call-ups yesterday. Surprisingly good team. Must be due to all the Dutch players that can now represent them without issue. Should be a fun game to see.

This is just their guess but I think it's a good one, regarding broadcast of our qualifiers: https://inpaok.com/692836/pros-open-ta-prota-evropaika/

Breaking news: Augusto hurt, missing Olympics: https://inpaok.com/692700/sok-gia-ntougklas-aougkousto/

Looks pretty complete to me! Lucescu said he wants 28 players, so with the return of Augusto and Biseswar we should expect four people to be cut. We also know Lucescu said he needs "three or four" new players per his comments after the Volos friendly. Could we really be cutting up to EIGHT people from this list? Seems unlikely in one transfer period. So looking at that list - we have three right-backs, so either Soares or Lyratzis will probably be cut. Both Ferreira and Garcia seemed to dislike Pereira, so I wouldn't be shocked if he is dropped too (though personally I think he's exactly the kind of player Lucescu seems to like). In terms of wingers - Zivkovic, Tzolis, Murg, and Lamprou are all there. The sites keep saying we want another winger...presumably Murg and Lamprou are in danger of being cut. Attacking midfielders - Vrakas, Konstantelias, Warda, El Kaddouri, Kagawa, Biseswar. I bet both of the Greeks will be sold/loaned out/transferred to PAOK II Other midfielders - Schwab, Esiti, Augusto, Ninua, Tsiggaras. Personally I'd say Augusto and Esiti are the most likely to go. Wouldn't be surprised if they both leave and Tsiggaras gets sent to PAOK II, to clear the way for one of the signings Lucescu is gunning for.

Some more names. Aursnes is a DM who currently plays for Molde. I doubt he'd be very expensive, and his contract ends this December. https://www.sport24.gr/football/paok-psachnetai-gia-ton-aoyrsnes.9289186.html https://www.transfermarkt.us/fredrik-aursnes/profil/spieler/223367 Adrien Silva is currently at Sampdoria, with a contract running through next June. Team might want a shot at Wernbloom v 2.0, judging by his highlight vids. https://inpaok.com/692610/sto-kadro-tou-paok-o-antrien-silva/ https://www.transfermarkt.us/adrien-silva/profil/spieler/56810
