Big game today.. getting one point today would be huge for us... Going to be very difficult.

I feel the same Pelkas can’t be our best option as starter. Mantalos is hit and miss for me as he shows flashes of playing well but then disappoints.. You are right we can’t just rely on Bakasetas to score we need our strikers to start scoring regularly by somehow getting them more involved in the game, it seems to me like our strikers are only involved when there is a scramble in the opposing teams box. Maybe they are playing too deep and they need to back out a bit and create more space for themselves in order for the other players to use them as a passing option. I’d like to see a few changes to the lineup against France but then again, do you mess with a winning lineup right now? Let’s see..

Absolutely Huge win for us… Poyet has found something with this team and it does seem like we are finally learning how to win and we are starting to build an identity. I know the game was close, but for me, Ireland was not in the same class as us today. The team is starting to put a lot of pressure on opposing defenses. They are sharing the ball and and starting to find openings.. This was a huge confidence booster for the boys. Bakasetas went from one of the most hated players on this team to possibly one of if not our best player right now and he’s looking like a true leader out there. I’m not expecting miracles, but if we can take something out of that France game that would be absolutely huge not only for the standings, but for the players overall confidence. Overall fantastic performance we slowed down at the end when we had a one goal lead and we gave Ireland some opportunities but overall huge three points.

We deserve to be ahead. You can’t give the game away like that we had full momentum we were all over them and then the first chance Ireland get they score and swing the momentum.

The turnout is starting to get better the stadium has quite a few people.

Biggest game for us. 3 points is a must anything less really kills our chances. I've been listening to a few podcasts leading up to this game and everyone seems shocked that Poyet didn't call Douvikas (whos now been called up due to injury) and Fortounis at the very least as a bench option. So far Poyet has done a good job but if they don't win this game and fail to create chances he will get a lot of criticism for his decision. In saying that LETS GOOOO!

Right now there is no advantage between Greece, Netherlands and Ireland. We have to assume that everyone is going to beat Gibraltar and everyone is going to lose to France so even though the Netherlands and Ireland have a loss we are all on level playing ground right now. The advantage will occur in June between Greece and Ireland and who ever can get 3 points. A draw will not help us at all. The draw will benefit Ireland if they come into our stadium and take a point. In a dream scenario Greece beat Ireland and somehow pull off a miracle draw in France, that would really give us a huge advantage.

I don't know why Douvikas and Tzoliz were not called up it makes no sense unless there were reasons I'm not aware of. Poyet now has his core players he's comfortable with but more tinkering needs to be done on the wings and Douvikas needs to be called up in June. We can also see what a difference Fortounis makes on the field when he's playing. The Line up for me looked so much more dangerous against Lithuania then it did against Gibraltar. Siopis has really impressed me with his work ethic, I also thought Rota had a strong game. Mantolas i don't mind in the midfield position since that is our weakest position i think he can do a decent job there.
