Just got home and now I'm watching the Finland Hungary game and so far Hungary is dominating them

^i don't know what sport you've been watching over the last decade? Yes we've been good and maybe overachieved in some areas, a good franchise and team that is good year after year that builds dynasties only are done one way and that is by introducing new young blood to play on a big stage with some veterans to gain experience and confidence and slowly over time you develop your young guys and start bringing them in and fading out the veterans and this needs to be done consistently to be a successful franchise and not to drift away and become a bottom feeder, I have respect for what Santos did as far as results but he did F*** us up for the future, you can't bring a young guy up for one game and then not call him up for another 5, you need to go through the growing pains with young guys, that's why he should have starting introducing them slowly to play with veterans, this is how all the successful teams do it.

Anyways this shouldn't be about kargounis right now it should be on tomorrow's game which is a must win, didn't start to good, injury to Fortounis, fog so couldn't fly in to the Islands and now they are putting down a plastic pitch something our guys aren't use to. What else will go wrong???

I'm not questioning the guys talent or heart or work horse effort, he was a soldier for us, and yes with out him there would be lots of games we wouldn't win that is fine. What I'm saying is why was he immediately offered this position as soon as he retires and what influence does he have on choosing players?? Let's be realistic guys the guy has build solid friendships with some of these guys and I'm sure he considers some of them family, of course he is going to play favorites with some of these guys and show his loyalty to them over the better of the team in some instances, he was playing with these guys last summer and now you think he's not going to push for some of them to be on the team even though they don't deserve to be?? Of course he is.

^ yes they need to lose one game but that means we need to win every game if they only lose one which is highly unlikely. Realistically I see us winning 3 games (hopefully) plus one tie and one lose which puts us at 12points total, which would mean Hungary would only need 5 points out of 15 which would put them at 13points, when you look at it this way it's almost impossible for Hungary not to qualify.
