  1. A re Djalma. That's how you steal games because we definitely are not the better team this half.
  2. It's like none of our boys are in the mood. Quite poor overall so far.
  3. Yeah we are half asleep and they are going for it, as they should. This is where a goal against the run of play can knock the wind out of them. As for El Kaddouri, he's been a major disappointment.
  4. Thanks! Have I told lately how much I love you ?
  5. Your live stream or your life.
  6. Ha ha, what are you talking about megale ? Are you saying because AEK and PAO don't have the same resources as they used to, that PAOK should automatically be winning trophies ? The big fish is still Olympiakos and their budget is still significantly bigger than everyone else. Now if Olympiakos had big financial problems also, and we weren't winning trophies then I'd agree with you. Guess who spent the most on transfers this season, last season, the season before that ? It's not PAOK. Given our budget, we have the ... "right" to be contenders but we don't have the right to say we should be winning everything automatically. Regarding the effect on the league if PAO drops it obviously won't be good. But I'd prefer they drop or do whatever it is they need to do to fix their finances up even if that means playing just kids and getting relegated. Better to do that, be in the crapper for 3-5 years but come back STRONG (like AEK) rather than having PAO the way they are now indefinitely. It's my belief that fans are put off when they can't see light at the end of the tunnel. When fans know (or think they know) this is the bottom, things will only get better from here, they come back. Just like happened to AEK when they dropped. I believe the same would happen with PAO and the days ahead will be better. But they need to find that bottom first, and we're not sure if we're there yet.
  7. Should this also apply in matters of love ?
  8. I’m still kind of surprised we’re selling Cimirot for “only” 2.5 million. I mean it’s good business. Bought him for 1.4 million so a nice profit I suppose. But nothing staggering. If he was not in the starting 11then all good but the thing is he is. I don’t like the idea of selling starting players for such an amount and worse during the winter transfer period. Why mess with an 11that is finally clicking ? This means one of Shakhov or Canas (assuming we don’t sign another player) have to become starters. I like Canas when he’s in form but he’s hardly played this season. What is also surprising is Cimirot wanting to leave. It’s not like he’s going to a super team. If it was Anderlecht or Brugge I’d get it but Standard Liège ? Add to that we’re a real chance of winning the league you’d think he’d want to at the very least hang around until the summer. I can only assume it’s a stepping stone in his eyes. Could be the case he’s thinking take the opportunity now to go to a better league.
  9. And now there are articles appearing of our interest in Kourbelis. Time will tell if this is for real or not.
  10. I keep thinking, how long can this run last ?! And haven't wanted to say anything for fear I will jinx him and the team. So there, Paschalakis, now you can go concede some goals this weekend!
  11. I guess I just disagree with Lucescu. Always been a fan of having a 6/kofti who provides cover for the defence and who can also sweep in the middle. If he can take and give hits as well for say derbies, that's a bonus. I get what Lucescu is saying though. In the GSL it's overkill but in Europe, especially as you play tougher teams, I consider a quality kofti essential. In truth, it's not easy to find a top quality one. In recent times we had Garcia and more recently Milivojevic from Olympiakos. Olympiakos have not been the same team since he left. Top player.
  12. Ha! I'm not sure whether to be honored or offended. Some scotch, a cigar and some meditation in the igloo required.
  13. Ha ha ha. Just after I posted saying we'd be crazy to sell him, I saw the article at inpaok. Go figure. I hope the money is very good. Canas and Shakhov both different players to Cimirot. Canas more defensive and Shakhov more attacking. I wonder what this means for Kace ? Personally, I wouldn't be loaning him to PAO and I'm not interested in getting a new player into the squad that needs time to gel with the boys.
  14. Say what you will about Shakhov but he knows how to get into goal scoring positions. He provided an assist for the first goal and scored the second. Definitely a handy player to have in the squad. The first goal was all Vieirinha. That dribble, impressive. And the second was all Campos. Straight out of the Campos text book on how to win the ball back and create a goal.
  15. Fully agree @paokarag4. You don't sell your starting DM unless the offer is outrageous. I'm talking it would have to be 5 million to even think about it. Or maybe risking it for 2.5 million is worth it considering we are one point from the top team on the ladder and haven't won a title since 1985 ?
  16. Oh what, Zambrano is still with the club ? I thought he left. Goes to show what I know.
  17. Look, PAO is fighting for survival so i can understand them wanting to get as much as they can for Moledo. We for our part should know better. We have been screwed numerous times whenever dealing with Greek clubs or players. We should have called the Moledo transfer off last week. It should've been finalised quickly. Otherwise, they just use your offer to their advantage.
  18. Yeah, originally I wanted Moledo, even if it was only for a 6 month loan deal, but now the transfer has a bad stink about it. I'd be kind of glad if the whole thing just fell apart. He is a quality player, no doubt, but if he doesn't want to play for us, move on my friend.
  19. Thinking about this ... it always seems like the player and their agents have the upper hand in our transfer dealings. In a way it's the clubs fault because at end of the day the club has not set a precedent of "don't f**k us around". If in the past we had set deadlines and when the deadline past, that was it, then Moledo's manager would be telling him "listen man, these guys don't f**k around, deadline is approaching". Instead we have this farce. Likewise with us selling players. We have these articles where that french team is making incremental offers for Prijo. Or even worse, these teams always and I mean always offer much less than the minimum release clause. If in the past we'd stuck to our guns and said "listen, this is the price, come close or don't bother" we'd have more hand in these dealing. The desperation each transfer period. It makes me cringe.
  20. He can also take some hits too. He doesn't seem fazed by a defender that plays dirty.
  21. I know! Seriously, how hard is it ? I can't understand the delay.
  22. Terrible, just terrible.
  23. El Khaddouri yes. Mauricio no.
