Can't see how or why PAS would loan him to us, with an option to buy. If he's much better than Glykos, then he's worth the 500K. I wouldn't blink twice at that figure considering what we've paid for some other players. As for Tudor and Olsen, it seems unprofessional but maybe it's a tactic (agreed to by everyone behind the scenes) to try and "encourage" him to find a new club ?

Assuming this Vellidis story is the real deal, what does everyone think about this signing ? I don't know much about him. If we signed him, do you think he'd be ahead of Glykos in the pecking order ?

I think the only excuse, whether we buy it or not, is that with the disastrous play-offs at the end of last season, the team was in a state of semi shock and panic. The fact that we had to play EL qualifying games, and early too, meant there wasn't much time to be patient with transfers. Hopefully we won't make that same mistake again.

It burns me to think we signed Olsen for 500K plus his wages are around that for the next 3 or 4 seasons. I can't see us off loading him without taking a big hit financially.

Solid performance, even if we did leave it late to score the first goal. Mystakidis was excellent. Cimirot and Charisis solid again in the middle. If Charisis keeps this up, this kid could be NT material one day. Yeah, I said it. Mak, Jairo, Tzavellas, Vitor good as well. Kitsiou and Leovas a little quiet. Good to see Berbatov on the scoresheet and oh my god, we kept a clean sheet. Might make the score line my computer background.
