@Blackhawk can you please start a new game thread for Xanthi's road trip to Olympiakos this weekend since we own Xanthi? ?

One time special on Phantis PAOK forums. My prediction 4:0 for Olympiakos with two penalties in favor of the best team ever in Greece.

We might as well start a dozen other threads. Saw 5 (yes 5!) players of OFI will serve their suspension in the game against us. Fortounis is back but El Arabi will score a super hattrick (left, right and a header). Malezas scores an owngoal in the first half and is released by the halifi during halftime and put on a plane to the good old Gulag. Pame thryle!

Είμαι υπέρ και της διαδήλωσης που εισηγήθηκαν κάποιοι μετά το γήπεδο να κατευθυνθούν στο Λευκό Πύργο και να ζητήσουν το δίκιο τους. Αν έχεις δίκιο κι έννομο συμφέρον το κάνεις. Δεν έχεις δίκιο, τότε κοροΪδεύεις το λαό σου. Η αδράνεια και η σιωπή είναι παραδοχή της ενοχής. Κι εμείς, πού στο καλό φταίξαμε και πληρώνουμε τα κερατιάτικα της κακίας των άλλων;

Missing Crespo will be a big blow. Specially in the playoffs. It is also evident that the absence of El Kaddouri has impacted our game. I like pash's lineup above. The only change I would make is not start Vierinha. I would put him in the 2nd half to lift the team. My surprise start would be Lambrou instead of Vieirinha. The only other change I could see is Augusto for Esiti.

So, Araujo is now coming on loan, both Wolves and Sporting Lisbon look to be backing away from Oliveira after showing interest so looks like both will be at AEK!!!

sport24.gr is one of the is sites controlled by Marinakis interests. He owes over 80% of the media in Greece. Makes things easier to brainwash people that way. Nobody invested Savidis's money in PAE Xanthi. Distant relative of Savidis's wife purchased a resort that is in the vicinity of PAE Xanthi's training facilities. According to EPO's dual ownership laws in the books currently that person could have directly purchased Xanthi without any consequences. The Mitsotakis government fearing backlash from PAOK fans and the electorate base in Northern Greece hurried to pass a new law replacing relegation with point deductions. Never mind that this law can't be enforced until the next season and unless UEFA/FIFA approves it. Anyway day by day events slowly shows how EEA came to their recommendations. PAE PAOK needs to directly push the case through EPO courts, and eventually to CAS if it goes that far. If there really is PAOK's involvement with Xanthi than the relegation punishment should stand. One thing I remember right before the start of the season was Marinakis talking to the Olympiakos players and telling them that Olympiakos will win this year's title at any cost. Now we know what he meant.

(sorry to hijack the thread, but...) Regardless of what's going on in Greece, the women's game in general is underfunded and still in the early stages of its development. The absolutely crazy swings in scores between teams is a good sign of that - you'd expect in an efficient system (with a base level of skill that comes from being coached, supported, etc) that teams would weed out outlier scorelines. In the women's game in particular, I feel you get mostly outliers. I think if I have time this weekend I'll try to find some good historical data on various teams from men's and women's leagues and plot out the regression, as that is easier to see as a scatterplot. My claim/thesis is basically that if you look at it as a function of time (x-axis on a chart) that you'll see a tighter grouping of aggregate goals per game (y-axis) as a league or sport "ages." This is what is referred to as "regression towards the mean" for the statistically-minded among us. If anyone has any ideas for good sources on that kind of goals-per-game data please feel free to share! The wider the set the better the results.

Με βάση άρθρο της Μετρομπάοκ (ό,τι θέλετε πιστεύετε) O Σουντγκρεν πάλι φαίνεται ότι δεν υπολογίζεται για βασικός.... Μάλλον θα δούμε Σόουζα στα δεξιά και Σάσα πίσω αριστερά. Όποτε το κέντρο θα καλύψουν οι Μπα και Ματίγια - που φυσικά όπως προείπα, είναι πολύ καλύτερο από Μπα/Σάσα που είχαμε με Αγρίνιο..... Ο πιτσιρικάς που δε μας επέτρεψε η ΜπαοκΕΠΟ να ανεβάσουμε στην 1η ομάδα, προοριζόταν για βασικός...
