Rumors of the above are continuing to percolate. I was chatting with our friend in CT and uncovered that he had suffered a torn ACL last year, and then after his return to competitive action aggravated that same (repaired) tendon and so was put into their B team for rehab purposes. This is going to be a risky one, should we do it. At the same time, there are also rumors that we've "closed" the deal for Ognjen Ugresic, of Partizan. He plays the same position (CM), is younger, and will probably be more expensive. But perhaps both a higher upside and less risk of a career-ending injury. PAOK is appealing the Zivkovic red card with UEFA in hope of reducing his punishment to just one game ban, thus making him available for Thursday. I don't think we stand a chance.

Maybe more concerning - are our other players so bad that he thinks Taylor is an upgrade? I am hoping this is all just so he could rest Zafeiris/Santamaria/Camara. Hopefully Celtic makes an offer on him soon so this becomes a moot point.

He hasn’t done anything at CM for us. Literally a body. Hes short he’s skinny. Doesn’t have skill. He’s a backup left back, I’d argue our 4th best LB but he’s good enough to start Cm?

He's asked about Taylor in the midfield at about the 34 minute mark, and he was pretty emphatic that he considers him a midfielder, due to his intelligence. Oh, my!
