levendi2000 Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 hey billy da greek.. i might have been wrong about kotsios - but id rather have him in than another old fart like anatolakis.. we dont want our players to have heart attacks on the pitch. we are both right about karagounis though.. he plays with alot of heart, there is definately a difference with him and everyone else. i will be watching the KAZ v GREECE and UKRAINE v TURKEY in adelaide(Australia) Rosemont Hotel @ 10pm. Its a great atmosphere and is packed with greeks. Im predicting we will win 1-0 - because we cant score much. we are struggling infront of goals. xipna re Charistea!!!!! But im also predicting Turkey will beat Ukraine. Ukraine are already through and may start a few youngsters instead of its big names. Ukraine go in with the mentality that they are already through no matter what. While Turkey will go in with the mentality that its now or never. Goodluck Ellatha mas!!! Think Otto is brave enough to place these two newbies in a crucial away match ? (slight sarcasm here) But honestly, I'd like to see those two in the lineup, both are in good form and needed considering our defensive woes and inability to score the past few months. An Anatol/Katsourani back would not stress me one bit againstt the Kazaks, loukoumi if you will , and Pap might just give off some of that life we've lost up front. As far as Charisteas is concerned it's a no brainer for Otto in my opinion, regardless who we might have to replace him or not, it'll change too much of the dynamic, and he won't be willing to gamle such a thing in a must win (meaning scoring a goal) match in remote Kazakstan, especially of Papadopoulos gets the start as expected.
