I really love the going out till 8am lifestyle, which is non-existent in Australia. Highlights of the trip were: -Watching Skoda Xanthi play for the first time, in a cup match against Levadeiakos, Xanthi played well and won 3-0. Players who impressed me most were Luciano & Antzas -The strip of cafes in Thessaloniki that stretches out for about 2 kilometres -Seeing the Parthenon -Visiting all my relatives that I have never seen before Some pics Xanthi: I'll be back soon.. The one of the Xanthi stadium reminds me of the game I went there with Ionikos in 1997 (when they were top of the league) losing 4-2. What is funny is that I can now see where the local fans came from when they ambushed us visitors from behind the stadium. I wasn't laughing at the time though - I was hit by 4 batteries wrapped in tape, and our bus back to Athens had a few windows and passengers missing. Great journey.
