athinaios Posted March 12, 2004 Share Posted March 12, 2004 I have a serious question: If a player is good and plays well for the team, should he be on the bench because he's looking to further his career elsewhere? Especially when PAO management is not offering him a good deal? And, should the coach not use a player because management wants to send a message? In other words, Shoum may not use the best available players thus hurting the team's performance, just because he is directed to do so?...... I think, just on this, a coach should stand up and say that "I'm going to use every player that performs well until the very last day this player is here, because I want the best for the team.... otherwise, you are undermining me and the team.... and I won't stand for this"............
