Antaeus7 Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 (edited) Sophia Ralli will be competing in the women's giant slalom Edited February 13, 2018 by Molon Lave
Dutch Eagle Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Apostolos Angelis finished as #74 in men’s sprint classic.
Blackhawk Posted February 13, 2018 Author Posted February 13, 2018 Angelis was 74th out of 80 competitors. Normal for a Greek athlete in Winter Olympics competition. He will also take part in the 15 KM Freestyle race. Danou will compete in the 10 KM Freestyle race. Antoniou and Ralli will take part both in Slalom and Giant Slalom competititions.
Antaeus7 Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Ralli may fair better than the other 3, not to say she will qualify for the finals.
Blackhawk Posted February 13, 2018 Author Posted February 13, 2018 Most likely. She will finish somewhere in the middle of the pack if we go by her past results in the Olympics BTW Angelis finished 74th in the same event in the last Olympics as well.
Antaeus7 Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 Yesterdays women's giant slalom event was cancelled due to high wind, they will resume tonight at 6:30 pm CT (9:30 am Korean time). I hope for a good showing from Sophia Ralli.
Antaeus7 Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Sophia Ralli finished 58th in the first run of the women's giant slalom She has a second run coming up
Antaeus7 Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 76th place for Maria Danou in the 10 km freestyle cross-country
Dutch Eagle Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 9 hours ago, Molon Lave said: She don't compete for the second run. Ralli finished 52th in the second run and also 52th overall.
Blackhawk Posted February 15, 2018 Author Posted February 15, 2018 That's a 6 position improvement for Ralli as opposed to the Sochi 2014 competition. In Vancouver 2010 she finished 53rd in the same event. She will also compete in the Slalom competition. As for Danou, she did worse than in Vancouver 2010, where she finished 73rd in the same event.
Blackhawk Posted February 15, 2018 Author Posted February 15, 2018 Our two competitors today in action: 1
