Blackhawk Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 Looks like Charisis, Vitor, Kitsiou, Jairo and Savvidis are ready for full practices, and might be available for Sunday's game.
pash Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Finally. Although we all know Savvidis won't be seeing any time
Dutch Eagle Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 We will get 1,200 tickets from Xanthi for this game. So we have almost the same amount of spectators only from PAOK as their average (1,544) in the others games.
paok4athens Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 ante na paroume mia kalh nikh na aneboume ki allo :) 1
Dutch Eagle Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Tudor selected these 20 players for tomorrows game: Olsen, Melissas, Vitor, Malezas, Tzavellas, Leovac, Skondras, Kitsiou, Kace, Sabo, Charisis, Tziolis, Golasa, Cimirot, Pelkas, Mak, Mistakidis, Jairo, Athanasiadis, and Berbatov.
Dutch Eagle Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Latent news: the game might be cancelled for the safety of the players. The pitch looks like this:
pash Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 ^ It looks like attendance is already at a record high for the season 1
Dutch Eagle Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) SL-rules say that the game should be played the next day at the same hour. As PAOK plays Kalloni on the 6th of January fir the cup this is not possible. Therefore the SL shall determine a new fixture. There is no possibility of playing the week after this as the homegame against Kalloni is scheduled fir the 14th of January. Edited January 3, 2016 by Dutch Eagle
pash Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 A shame. At least we get a few more days of rest for the players.
Dutch Eagle Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 The game most probably will be rescheduled for January 20th.
Blackhawk Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 If it is rescheduled for January 20, than we face the prospect of playing 7 games in 21 days.
paok4athens Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 we should have players coming back from injuries by then
Dutch Eagle Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 The 20th of January it is. 19:30 Greek time.
pash Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 We seem to have nothing but tough matches through at least early February. My guess is we'll see Kace in over one of Cimirot or Charisis, especially since we play AEK away three days later. Getting three points here will be very important, as we bring ourselves even in games played.
pash Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Tudor, in his press conference following the Veria game, had a few tidbits about player selection: He puts Berbatov in the attacking midfielder role only when he feels the opponent is not at the top level (which is why we'd see him there vs Veria, but not AEK) Mistakidis will start Mak was showing signs of fatigue - perhaps a hint that he won't start? Had a short spiel about how a lot of players can't seem to keep up the pace of a game every three or four days, and that it's an issue of training (although he uses the term "muscles"), which is what's causing the constant changes in the lineup. Points out Charisis and Kitsiou.
Blackhawk Posted January 18, 2016 Author Posted January 18, 2016 Kace wll sit this one out due to cards.
Dutch Eagle Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Tudor selected the following players: Olsen, Melissas, Kitsiou, Korovesis, Tzavellas, Vitor, Tziolis, Sabo, Charisis, Cimirot, Savvidis, Golasa, Pelkas, Mystakidis, Rodrigues, Athanasiadis, Berbatov and Jairo. Not travelling to Xanthi for different reasons: Kace, Mak, Malezas and Skondras.
pash Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Tudor was pleased with Korovesis last time, I'm betting we'll see him again there. He's also confirmed Mistakidis will start - he might not want to bring Rodrigues back too quickly, so I'm going to predict Jairo and Mistakidis as wingers. Assuming Sabo shows up, we should get the three points out of this. --Melissas-- --Kitsiou--Vitor--Tzavellas--Korovesis-- --Tziolis--Sabo-- --Jairo--Berbatov--Mistakidis-- --Klaus--
Blackhawk Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 Apparently Tudor will field the following lineup, giving some players rest so they can be ready for the game against AEK on Sunday: ------------------- Olsen --------------------- Kitsiou -Tziolis -Tzavellas - Korovesis --------- Cimirot ----------- Charisis ------ --- Jairo ------ Pelkas ---- Mistakidis --- ----------------- Klaus ----------------------- Hope Tudor knows what he's doing. Last time Tziolis played as CB against Xanthi we got destroyed 4:2.
Blackhawk Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 There is bad weather in Xanthi, so there is a chance that the will not be played again.
pash Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 The front half of that lineup is, in my opinion, one of our strongest. Hopefully the offense can make up for our defensive issues. For once.
