Dikefale11 Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 (edited) Have to give it to the man, has really impressed me, should be seriously considered by the Ethniki, along with Tzanetopoulos. Big season for both players and the rock of our defence. Edited August 9, 2015 by Dikefale11
Original Sydney Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 They both had good games, this is why in the line ups post im in too minds on who will start. These two are great CB but Arzo does have the leadership qualities we need. Was there a reason why Arzo didn't start?
Dean97 Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 I think Tzanetopoulos is a good player and a future Ethniki player but what is Kolovetsios best attributes?
RED SHERIFF Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Have to give it to the man, has really impressed me, should be seriously considered by the Ethniki, along with Tzanetopoulos. Big season for both players and the rock of our defence. K.pap,Manolas,Sokratis have the CD positions tied down for the next 5-10 years... Add to it Oikonomou, Siovas...there is not much hope for these guys unless they make a massive move to a big league and overtake the above mentioned.
Dikefale11 Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 When was the last time K.Pap played for the Ethniki? Its all about form and how good a player is at the moment and not how good he was. Its still early days for these 2 but with a good season under there belt with tough away matches in Tripoli, Thessaloniki and the derbies they will gain loads. I call it that they will both get call ups at some stage in 2016.
Dikefale11 Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 I think Tzanetopoulos is a good player and a future Ethniki player but what is Kolovetsios best attributes?Great decision maker, rarely see him make a mistake. Will be tested more so this season.
Original Sydney Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 K.Pap is very injury prone and so is Manolas. These guys have a chance to receive a call up their form can't be ignored if they are doing well in the League.
Dikefale11 Posted August 11, 2015 Author Posted August 11, 2015 From what I have ready Tzanetopoulos has a release clause of 1.5m, we need to tie him down ASAP before clubs get a whiff.
Original Sydney Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I don't think he will be going anywhere anytime soon
Original 21 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 We have to let him go if any team offers 1.5 million, thats why we need to resign him to a 5 year contract with a high release clause.
Original Sydney Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Triggering the clause doesn't always mean they have to go to the club that triggered it. Many teams in Europe have triggered players clauses and the deal hasn't gone through But you are right we need to re-sign him now because in a year or 2 he could be worth a whole lot more if he continues this great form he has shown
Dikefale11 Posted August 12, 2015 Author Posted August 12, 2015 The only reason he wouldnt have to go is if he wouldnt want to. Sign him up, give him a decent wage and keep him happy.
Original Sydney Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 We need to sign him up he's the future of AEK and I am sure Dellas knows this and also management.
