Irlandos Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 FIFA officials have recently hinted that, if bribery were to be proved, Qatar and/or Russia would lose their assignments for hosting the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. Is such a step logical or too drastic at this stage?
Bananas Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 I don't think Russia is likely to lose the World Cup. Qatar however should be afraid. I wouldn't discount the possibility. 1
Dutch Eagle Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 It would be logical but most likely they won't lose their assignments. As The Netherlands (with Belgium) also contended for the 2018 WC voices arise that we should get our money (spended for the bidbook etc) back. This is fair because as we did not had a chance at all. And FIFA has a lot of money in stock (being a non-profit organisation )
