Another team double this season. The men's handball team defeated Diomidis Argos 43:40 in double overtime and penalty shootout to claim the Greek championship to go along with the Greek Cup.

PAOK's woman's soccer team qualified to the final of the Greek Cup where they will meet Odysseas Glyfada on Sunday in Katerini. If they win the cup, they get another double.

PAOK won the Greek Cup final in a penalty shootout 4:3. The game finished in a 0:0 time in regular and extra time.

 

This is the fourth Greek cup for the PAOK girls. They also won 10 Greek championships.

PAOK defeated Aris 77:76 in the fourth game for 3rd-4th place basketball playoffs and ended the season in 3rd place.

PAOK's women football team will play in UEFA's Champions League in August.

 

They were drawn in a group 2 with the following teams:

 

PAOK (GRE), NSA Sofia (BUL), Glentoran Belfast United (NIR), ZFK Dragon 2014 (FYROM)

 

The games will take place on August 11-16 at the home field of one of the teams. The winner of the group will qualify to the groups stage of Champions League.

PAOK women are ranked 50. Sofia ranked 65 and the other two have no ranking.

It would be great if they can qualify. Then the ladies will get crushed but they will get lots and lots of experience.

I just hope we don't self destruct like we did in the two previous games with Olympiakos this season.

Won the first game in the best of 5 series  3:1  (25;19, 20:25, 26:24, 25:20)

 

With this win PAOK takes the home advantage from Olympiakos.
