js1000
ninis has to come off, at fault for the goal, he looks too nervous and offers nothing
Irlandos
It's not just Ninis. Salpigidis is invisible, Sifakis is shaky, Makos is not up to this game, Samaras is below par.
Lazarus
It's not just Ninis. Salpigidis is invisible, Sifakis is shaky, Makos is not up to this game, Samaras is below par. In other words no midfield.
Lazarus
It should have been 32-0 (for the Germans) in the first half.
jarvis1981
I wouldn't make any changes just yet. I would, however, move Samaras to centre forward so he doesn't have to play defense and risk a 2nd yellow card. Greece can't afford to go down to 10 men. Ninis has been the only player to get a decent shot on net and that was from far out. Nobody is getting close to the German goal. Sifakis has made a couple of good saves but that pitch must be muddy as he can't hang on to the ball. On the positive side, Greece has played better in the 2nd half of the previous games. Greece need to stay in the game for the next 20 minutes and then make a few changes and push forward.
Irlandos
There's no attack either: on any occasion when the ball went up front, no one was in the box, not Salpi, not any one!
Omonoia9
Sifakis has made some nice saves, but his rebound control is spotty, and he could've had the goal. 45 minutes to see what we're made of. We're lucky it's only 1-0.
Euro2004
It's not just Ninis. Salpigidis is invisible, Sifakis is shaky, Makos is not up to this game, Samaras is below par. Samaras and Ninis have been lazy! Ninis was at fault for the goal, just let Lahm jog past him. Salpi can't get into the game because he's playing up front. Just like I said before the game Ninis cannot play on the right. Where was he to track Lahm? We HAVE to finally see Fetfa. Switch to a 3-5-1-1 with Makos dropping to centre back, Kats and Maniatis in the middle alongside Fetfa who should come on for Ninis. Samaras as the link man with Salpi up front. Much more solid and had the ability to break away with Fetfa. If they are getting too much space like that then Fortunis could come on for Samaras or Salpi. Either way, it's a slippery pitch with players unable to turn, Fetfa HAS to come on!
Lazarus
Without exaggeration, we have just played the worst football I have ever witnessed. Pitiful.  It's hard for one not to cheer for the Germans if they love the game of soccer. Maybe 2nd half... :gr: :gr:
