Samaras has been open two or three times but Salpi couldn't give him the ball. Ukraine are not even worried about the Greek offense anymore. They know they can run the Greeks down. Put in Ninis...... In the last 5 minutes of the first half our players realised that their opponents are not to be feared and pushed forward. The referee made a terrible mistake against us. I would be devastated if it costs us qualification. Samaras was bad first half, he must play more maturely or I'd rather see Charisteas in his place. Ukraine look like the team with poise. Greeks panic and can't put four short passes together. Really would like to see Ninis in there to see if he could add something. mangas21 Posted November 14, 2009 Share Posted November 14, 2009 where i was right: salpi making things happen - i said he is that kind of pain in ass player that u hate to paly against better team play - seems like its typical greece play to teh level of your opponent haristeas out good job otto no way h would have created the havoc salpi has where i fukced up - overstimated ukraine cant believe these guy beat england defense playing better than i thought surprises: we are actually chasing the ball and not letting ukraine set up playing a little more fluid offense what must happen: 1. no arvaam 2. no avramm 3. no avraam 4. keep the line up the SAME. it will break through 5. when wings get deep pass back to trailing mids !!!!!! its WIDE OPEN disappointments - kyriakos looks slow - could have easily been called on a penalty when he tackled the ukrain guy in the box - is kastourani playing today? still one half to go...i thinkthey played as well as i have seen for a long time.....good opponent, tight in the back, good communication i think we looked like the better team Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
