athinaios
It's no big deal if we lose, though Greece needs the points, because our possible opponents (if we get second place) are beatable. Of course, UEFA is the icing on the cake, cannot be our only goal this season. It may come to this though, because we're screwing up in the domestic league
slick13
i expect a loss of 3 or 4-0! and after christmass some new players and coaching staff.
drakos13
if we lose in madrid then these are the teams we will face from CL: Sporting Slavia Prague Marseille PSV Rosenborg Benfica Bremen Rangers not to bad in my opinon, we can beat all of these teams... what is so easy about these teams guys??Marseille??? Sporting?? Benfica?? PSV?? those are better teams than us especialy right now Rosenborg, Slavia and Rangers usually are beatable but were better than average in europe this year none of these are easy..... athinaios
No team is easy, I agree. Some are better for us. However, they see PAO as a desirable opponent too. It's open. I was about to say that PAO plays better in Europe as if we can focus for one game but lose focus on a long process like the domestics league.... But, I realized it's a crap shoot. Yeah, that's it, like gambling at the casino

drakos13
id rather face the top seeds from UEFA groups i think.... if 2nd place faces the CL drop outs, that means the 3rd place UEFA plays 1st place UEFA groups??? Id rather end up in 3rd, its a much better draw..... teams like everton hamburg zurich leverkusen helsingborg getafe AZ bolton Bayern obv not preffered but etc etc...... jcoutavas
I don't understand all the doom and gloom. Sure Peseiro has made mistakes in his selection of players but the bottom line is that the season is long from over. We're 3 points out of first place in the domestic league, we have a chance to stun Olympiakos at home in the cup, and we are undefeated in the UEFA Cup. Have some faith! The recent lackluster performances should push the players in the right direction. I predict a 0-1 win in Madrid.

pao123
we will not win this game..our best option is a tie...i dont think we can keep up with atletico.,..they have a wonderful squad...i hope i am wrong and the true EURO pao shows up, but it will be tough to pull any points from atletico. Clover22
He's not going to start Vyntra in this game, come on. Why he left Ndoye behind is a mystery! And whats going on w/ Ninis already?
Clover22
Also Fyssas is missing. He would be good in certain games for the experience he has. Any word on him?

Well N'Doye had in the last UEFA game some small injurie from which he hasnt recovered fully yet/he lost to many trainings. Since he wants to give Nilson some rest he got not much other options as to let Vyntra play. Seric is still "injured" even though nothing serius.Darlas doesnt seem to fit in Peseiros plans as an option on this position. Ninis is one big questionmark for me too since he already stated that he is ready and waiting for his chance. Also Fyssas is missing. He would be good in certain games for the experience he has. Any word on him? Well as far as i read he will be starting eleven against Atletico

cyberfish
It seems that we are treating UEFA cup as a secondary competition and have put more emphasis on winning the superleague. From the beginning we are playing mostly our "second team" in UEFA and it has been winning consistently
dark_horse
I'm confident PAO will put there dissapointing match in the Super League behind and zero in on Atletico. It will be a sellout in Madrid.

It will be a sellout in Madrid. PAO will go for a Win tomorrow. There are some players in the squad who burn to get their chance. I believe Ninis could even be starter. They will want to show Peseiro that they are able to be starters. My only worry is Vyntra . I am curius to see Matos playing a more playmaker position. Since some sites report Peseiro setting up an 4-5-1 or a 4-3-3 I both setups you need a 10ari
