I'm gutted about Varela. But this is his chance to make some serious money before its too late so I cant begrudge him too much i suppose. He was one of my favorites and if he does leave we will always have the memory of that phenomenal red card in the Final... has there ever been a better sending off?

Brilliant so the police still get the massive payout for policing the game anyway. I though the police take the p1ss out of clubs in Scotland but this is next level. 3,000!! Have they got "intelligence" that tens of thousands of fans are going to try and gain entry?

The game is going to be behind closed doors without fans and still in Athens at OAKA. What.a.joke. Never mind the fact they are not allowing fans but to then still play it at at that stadium is pretty disgraceful. The only need to play it there would be for ‘fans safety’ as they kept telling us. So why do we need to play it in AEKs home now?

If it is to be played behind closed doors then it must be played at a neutral venue. It's a joke that this is still being discussed.

I think its a slogan that tries to do two things.. annoy rival fans (job done) and possibly to try and make people think of PAOK when they think of Thessaloniki, a pretty good marketing ploy but hardly the cynical attempt to wipe out the other teams.

Can you copy and paste where it states this as i cannot find it. Maybe it doesn't translate well but on the English version i cant find anything that indicates anything like what you have stated.

Pretty incredible. What a season this has been for PAOKARA! I love how much the club are investing in a strong youth academy as it is absolutely the route we need to go down to have a sustainable future. Hopefully there will be some very good homegrown talent coming through in the next few years.

Hardly surprising we played so poorly in this game as there was always going to be a 'hangover' (figuratively speaking) from Sunday/Monday celebrations. Glad we have got this performance out the way. Now we can focus on finishing as unbeatables in the league, enjoy a short rest and then dominate the final.

Wow wow wow. I’m so happy I went and was part of that. So so emotional. I am just taking off from Athens back to Edinburgh and it was amazing walking through the airport in my PAOK top. Some people not happy with me and others even congratulating me. This weekend has been like a dream. I can’t imagine what it has been like for some of you that have been waiting a life time for this.

Well there you have it. I'm flying out on Saturday morning Via Konstantinoupolis and back Monday night Via Athens. ( ?Pleasing) All going well , I doubt i will be sleeping at all on Sunday night. I was told by a friend that last weekend that Thessaloniki had already ran out of Pyrotechnics , Fireworks etc. Sounds like it will be the semi final against Gavros in 2014 on steroids.

I'm not sure how that would be received.. I would love to wear the kilt but i'm 50/50 about it due to unwanted attention and people thinking i look like an idiot haha Bagpipes? Genuinely, i would need a formal invite from Ivan and the leaders of the fan clubs before I would consider pulling off a stunt like that!! That would literally be a show stopper and probably not of the good kind as I'm sure no one would appreciate anything about it.

I hope so. Work is doing everything to stop me and the flights are getting to eye watering levels but I can't miss this... Absolutely devastating for Vieirinha. Could be the tail end of next season before we see him again depending on surgery, rehab and how his body responds. When I saw him last night i was fearing the worst. Gutted doesn't even come close. Actually, I'm really angry about it.
