  1. Anyone noticed how many times we have wasted a free kick or a corner? Life would be much easier if you had Fortounis searching for Manolas or Siovas unlike Tzavellas who's never been a real CB to begin with.

Hatzidiakos is good in the build up play but I think he definitely isn't ready to be a starter yet. Needs to be tested in a tougher league because the Dutch one is soft in terms of defence.

  2. 1. denmark obviously or in a lesser extend croatia. otherwise we stand very little chance to take a point from any of the rest.

    2. romania or slovakia who are pretty much on the same level. poland would be very bad and id like us to avoid serbia, turkey and switzerland. wouldn't mind wales/sweden/austria

    4. slovenia because they are trash. avoiding bosnia would be essential, while albania/israel/skopje are quite dangerous.

    5. cyprus/estonia/lithuania/latvia

Can anyone explain why this link states that today's tie means Greece is in Pot 4 for the upcoming World Cup draw?

Others on here are saying we are in Pot 3.

    Which one is it?

Possibly in the link you have posted thd results of month November have yet to be published.

Bosnia lost both of their games which means they are going down hence Finland and Greece which made 2 victories are going up.

It was a good campaign. They played well. With some luck here and there it’s a different story. I think they will be a lot better during the World Cup qualifiers. More experience will only make them better.

I only have 2 bad things to say about this game. First, tzavellas needs an attitude check. Otherwise it’s gonna cost is one of these days.

Secondly, I would like for someone to tell me why our players have loads of space in front of them but stop and turn back. Or never take on a guy one on one. I know they’re a slow team, but come on. Take a chance beating a guy now and then. Especially Bakasetas

Oh no Tzavellas is experienced and captaincy material unlike Manolas and Siovas who are bad guys and harm the team.

You guys also forget to mention that they have arguably the best goalie on the other side.  We played well the entire campaign. We had the majority of the shots/possession/chances in every game.  Sure we could have done better and made some different choices in selections, but overall, we played well.  Remember, just 2 years ago, we lost to the Faroe Islands and looked bad doing so.  We are finally hustling, pressing and are able to string two passes together.  With a few tweaks, we can be a really good team.

WE lost to Faroe Islands 6 years ago and people should basically get over it, it's like you've never seen a team chocking in any sport?

Mitroglou is a veteran that should think more about retirement than playing for the NT again. The team is in a rebuilding process and we don't need to go backwards.

He's a vet only because of his fitness level.

Otherwise I literally don't find one single reason why he shouldn't join the team in March IF he gets playing time in another club in January.

Unless you think the likes of Pavlidis/Koulouris/Giakoumakis are enough.

Overall, the team played so much better under JVS.  No one can dispute that.  I almost feel against better teams, we would have a better chance to score as they would commit more forward.  Having the ball is something new for us as we never used to dominate possession.

Basically that's the only game in the entire qualification they played well. Both games against Kosovo were atrocious and we were quite average against Moldova.

  8. Btw something about the importance of the match that media have still to notice is that if we lose we are definitely a pot 4 team in the wc draw next month. After Finland's victories against Bulgaria and France we have dropped to pot 4. Finland now face Wales at their last game and most probably I can see them avoiding the defeat which means they are a pot 3 team no matter what we do in our game.

What we need to take into account however is that our other direct competitor is Bosnia who face Italy. We desperately need them to lose their game and us to win/draw against Slovenia. Any other result means we are heading into pot 4.

  9. You can go and check here and around the media how many people who are pro Vant Schip claimed he's right on this and he stould stay on the bench for the x/y/z reason. Most used argument is that he doesn't start in this team, even used by the manager himself.

Btw thats a total bullshit considering he played Stafylidis out of position when he was healhly and now starts Mavrias who's a bench warmer in Omonia.

Welcome back Boxou! I thought you went missing after 2 straight wins. Must hurt to see JVS racking up some victories!

The only one who hurts here is probably you, the manager and everyone else who bashed on Fortounis saying he should stay in the bench.

Unfortunately the team was missing Mantalos to start over him and worry in the end of the game why the team dropped points to Moldova.

Not going to be easy against Slovenia. All they need is a tie.

Worst player on the NT by far is Bouchalakis.

Can you tell us what have you liked on Mpakasetas the last 30 (?) times you've seen him around? Because i literally remember no difference in his game since 2017 if I'm not mistaken. Being negative 9 out of 10 times he plays.

But the worst thing is that he starts there when we have other options like Fortounis or even Pelkas, Mantalos can play the position better than him.

Bouchalakis on the other hand is the only "8" we have at a high level at this moment, unless he calls up Samaris back who starts getting games with Benfica.

This is curious... The only news we can remember about the National Team and Karaiskaiki was when Grammenos made the statement that the Ethniki needed to "Move On" from Karaiskaiki. Nothing we have read ever indicated that Olympiacos didn't want the national team to use the stadium.

The claim was that the venue made it so that other ethniki fans could not enjoy watching the national team.

Yep and they choose Oaka where barely 2k people show up in a stadium of 60K.

Olympiakos will not allow the national team to play at Karaiskaki.

The game was schedule at OAKA but the pitch is in horrible condition, so the game was moved to Toumba which currently has the best pitch in Greece. However the government will not allow the game to be played there. So we end up playing on a bad pitch at Rizoupoli. Hopefully this will not cost us.

Olympiakos offered Karaiskakis to the NT for about 14 years, it was Epo which decided to move the team from there because they had better alternatives fcking lmao.
