    The good thing is we've got 3 weeks until the 1st European match. It gives time for the new guys to get some more practice with their new teammates and some games under their belt. Also, We've got over a month until the match vs. Dortmund in Toumba...we'll need to be in top form to get a result against them. Maybe someone can hold Papastathopoulos' mother hostage, so he can score an own goal to help us out, lol.

    After seeing the highlights, I feel like this was a match where Klaus would have made the difference. There were a bunch of good crosses that went to waste. Klaus may not be great at much, but the one thing he's usually great at is being at the right place at the right time for a nice cross in traffic.

    I agree....Costa's contract should have been priority #1...at this point (unless they have something up their sleeves this late in transfer period, which I doubt) you keep quiet and start looking for 2 studs on Defense for the winter.

    The Pereyra situation is almost over. It's a shame, I really liked him as a player. There's talks about PAO wanting him, I wouldn't let him go to any Greek league team because if he does very well there, you risk looking like an idiot. At least if you goes out of the country, few will actually keep track of how he does.

    My mother is from Drama (a xorio 20 minutes out) and my father was born in Chalkidiki, raised in Thessaloniki.

    The biggest influx of Greeks in America was in the late 60's - Early 80's I believe. Most Greeks my age (35-40) here are the first generation of Greeks born in America, with the younger kids (2-10 years old) are the mostly the 2nd generation and the ones who are more likey to be mixed or not speak Greek, etc. There was also a bunch from the 1940's, but most of their kids and grandkids have been more americanized.
