I didn't know Matos played LB.... that definitely opens up possibilities, but I don't think Henrique would have been loaned out if we didn't intend on using Vierinha as a winger. It looks like all the "Big 4" teams made some decent moves this year. Araujo and Kone for AEK is a pretty big deal I think (Although I haven't really seen Kone play as of late). PAO had a couple deals fall through but still picked up some decent players.... This year should be interesting.

I think that with a couple strong signings in the winter, and 2-3 more next summer, along with retaining all our top talent and unloading the baggage we could be in great shape for a European run next year.

Zambrano is a done deal as well. Pouggouras and Dimitraids are loaned to Kerkyra. I'm surprised there was no movement on Cimirot, after all the "interest" from Germany.

I believe Pelkas is a decent scorer and wouldn't mind seeing him up front with Prijo a couple times...

What's the word on Vieirinha's injury? Is he out for a while, or is he on the mend and ready to practice?

Is Lucesco a 4-4-2 guy? Do we now have the talent in the backfield to pull off a 3-5-2 if Sabrano is on board?

I don't see the reason to loan him out. I'd understand selling him if the price is right. I don't even think loaning him out is goo even if Vierinha DOES come here. He's been playing RB for the past 4 years and he's lost a step or 2 as far as speed goes.

In that case, I'm surprised the media hasn't come out and stated that he's aleady signed, and given us some phony numbers,,,

So, is Vierinha on a plane to Thessaloniki? This is a perfect time for the media to shove him down our throat again.
