  1. ^ those 5 + our obvious back 5 + Karnezis = Hellas
  2. Giannou will have a hard time cracking the starting 11 for hellas. For Australia it SHOULD be a piece of cake, for him. No offence, Australia is not that good lol. He'd be their best striker. Cahill is finished.
  3. Top 4 this world cup I think will be France, England, Germany, Portugal Top 8 notable Mentions Spain, Belgium, Italy the rational final is France Vs. Germany.
  4. I think he definitely feels more Greek. But he is way better off at Australia. Say he feels Australian 7/10 but for career is 9/10, that's an 8 And he feels Greek 9/10 but for career it's a 6/10, that's a 7.5. Australia is the best choice for him. He definitely loves both countries (representing both at a youth level) But the fact that he moved his career to Greece indicates were his heart dominates. A pure Aussie lover would strive for the EPL or even SPL before Greece.
  5. The SPL is weak but Celtic has always been a quality side. They showed their quality when Samaras scored against Barca in Champions League. Samaras isn't finished. He was Man of the Match a WC 2014. He needs to stay away from the EPL because they don't rate him. Greek League, Portugal, Italy seem best.
  6. I think the perfect amount is 33 in a campaign. 22 For a tournament. 11 A team. 11 B Team. 11 C Team. (Pending on injuries or extremely good form)
  7. I predict 2nd or 3rd. 1st if we're extremely lucky. 4th if we're very unlucky. I think if Ranieri stayed the whole campaign he'd eventually put on the lineup that led to the 4-3 in Hungary. And he would polish it. Tsanas, I'm worried that he might revert back to a bad lineup.
  8. hahaha it's almost like a faroe island revenge?
  9. ^ I hope not. I don't think he's that dumb. He could've easily been stubborn and played Tziolis again. Fortounis is killing it. There's no way he will be left out. I'd be curious if the addition of ninis might give us even more pleasant results.
  10. Pelkas is fast. Is Mantalos speedy enough for the wide area?
  11. Cyprus vs. Greece to me is more like Crete vs. Greece. I consider them as Greek as any other part of Greece. I have many cypriot friends and they cheer as hard for the ethiniki as anybody. They were going to be party of Greece in 1974 till Turkey went ape s%$#! and started raiding people's houses.
  12. Looking back on the matchcentre we were officially in a 4-2-3-1 http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro/qualifiers/season=2016/matches/live/day=10/session=1/match=2014053/index.html Pelkas & Mantalos gave us pace on the wide side. You gotta have pace on the wings. Klonaridis, Holebas, Fetftazidis are some of our faster players for the wing as well. Fefta needs to get on a good team! he's one of our best players offensively. He only played a total of about 90 minutes this campaign. in the last hugary game 0-0 (our second best game he was our best player)
  13. Cyprus has been punching above their weight with everyone these past years. hopefully Greece learned it's lesson after the double loss to the Faroes to not take ANY match lightly.
  14. the dutch were without Robben for much of the campaign. they're a completely different side with him on. much much better. Greece this past decade has always played best with a chip on the shoulder. Being the favourites in this group is outside our comfort zone. World Cup Qualifiers we're back in the under dog seat. Were we have almost always been. I think our players like to be underestimated. Sucker punching Ivory Coast out of knockout rounds. Beating Portugal at their home in the final. Knocking out the dark horse Russia in 2012.
  15. hmm what about samaris as LB kpaps sokratis manolas the other 3 slots and the rest of the lineup as we saw in the 4-3
  16. AEK was definitely great. Beating Milan in Champions League brings back memories. Aris was a good team with Koke. Panathinaikos was a regular in the group stage of CL. Paok IMO is better today than it was the past 10 years because of Ivan Savvidis. Olympiakos is probably better today than it was 10 years ago as well. They could never win an away match in Europe now they're beating out Arsenal, Juventus, Athletico Madrid. Oly, Paok = Better Today Pao, Aris, AEK = Worse Today
  17. Mitroglou showed what I was trying to point to all along. He's one of the best strikers Greece ever had, but he needs service. Most strikers can't make something out of nothing. Without service he becomes a pylon. With a good midfield we'll see that Klaus isn't too shabby either.
  18. huge game. it will be tough, though.
  19. I lol'd the tachtsi goal & mitroglou assist were sexy I can't recall a pair of ethiniki goals that pretty I loved the hunger in our players Tachtsi, Kone, Fortounis specifically.
  20. We should play the lineup that tsanas basically played in hungary 4-3 just Manolas = For Moras Holebas = Stafylidis Torosidis = Kitsiou Plenty of lineups seem good in theory but this is the only one of a half dozen that actually performed great.
  21. I had a feeling that he might score like 5 goals and wish they would have been more evenly spread out through the campaign. (Would of resulted in a handful of wins considered the 0-0s) im glad we got a win that's actually a great idea by Tsanas that I didn't think of. load the midfield with CAMs we have 6 good ones. so it increases our odds of one having a good night. pelkas, ninis, fortounis, mantelos, kone, lazaros highlights
  22. We aren't in the worst company. Sandwiched between Lewandaski's Poland & Ibra's Sweden. At 44.
  23. also remember world cup 2014 in costa rica. we looked pretty dangerous but we also had 3 strikers on field gekas, mitroglou, samaras perhaps karelis mitroglou and klaus would be a good thing to try..
  24. Despite the Holebas throwing shirt incident (I didn't see) from the highlights I've seen he actually has been our best players this campaign (which isn't saying much lol) feftatzidis threw us under the bus by downgrading to saudi arabia. he's the best winger we have by a big margin.
