He's been critiqued right now.... Since the summer began... in my book.. he has been critiqued... In my opinion, an injured player is a bad player.... If your not helping your team on the pitch or even on the training ground.... then you have a negative impact on the team Being out for a few matches, here and there, is OK.. its part of the game.... however this "marquee" signing that has missed crucial games so far is in the negative in my books

JVC we don't have a team for Europe in the fact that we don't have the maturity nor the breadth/depth of a roster to compete in Europe Our team cannot handle or juggle the responsiblities of handeling 3 oragniziations at once... not only that but our players s%$#! themselves when it comes to Euro compeittion.. its more of a mental lapse as our team isn't as bad as some make it out to be (competitively speaking) However, for some way, shape or form... the way we play in Greece is VASTLY different from our Euro play because we give our opponents wayyyy to much respect We need to develop a metal to our approach to European competition and we need depth b/c we cannot continue playing the same players over and over or else they will burn out.. we already see Berg absolutely dead When we play in Greece... there is a certain aura that we have... we just dont carry that over into our Euro play.... Once we bring in more depth, a few upgrades in some positions and develop that keen confidence on ourselves.. then we can truly look at European compeititon B/c right now, we are circus to any European club

Astera, lamprou has STRUGGLED immensely in the U21s last year I can see why they wanted to ease him in... this year may be different but he needs to show consistency... that is what a lot of our players lack.. consistency

Risvani earned his right to talk smack as he played better at his position than Tavlaridi did Not only that.. but I can imagine why Risvani would have something to say if Tavlaridi said "Gia Panionio, eisai kalos"...... Tavlaridi should know better and should focus on his own game a bit more... maybe he can acutally prevent the defense from leaking a goal for once

If he can win over his players... he has what it takes to make it as a coach in a big team... If he can't... then he needs to go.... Risvani is 20 years of age and has shown extremely enourmous potential... for one reason or another (rumored to be laziness) he was deemed not good enough by Router/Anastasiou and he was sent to Panionio where he is surrounded by players his age, formed a camaraderie and is trusted Tavlaridi is a player who was sent abroad at a very early age... tried at Arsenal... played a handful of games.. deemed not good enough and has spent the majority of his career playing in decent/mediocre teams... the highlight of his career is playing for Lille when he had the game of his life against Ruud Van Nistelroy and completely shut out the Dutchman who was in tremendous form during that time He has done "well" for a Greek player... however that earns him ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to bash a younger player (one he was teammates with) when he himself has had an extremely terrible start to the season.... Instead of trying to put down Risvani, maybe he should focus on his own playing and look at himself once or twice in the mirror.... a little humility never hurt anyone

Yes I have been critical of the signings that have taken place... I don't think that signing Sanchez or Essien were the signings we needed to make to help us IMPROVE an already decent squad I have never said our squad is s%$#!... I have said they are a decent squad that could use 2-3 players of QUALITY in order to be a competitive in the league AND in Europe.... After the transfer season, I don't think we made the right moves to be competitive on both fronts and thus opted to sacrfice Europe and strictly play in the league as lack of midweek games would help us with consistency and preparation for the weekly league games This team (w/o all the summer transfers) is STILL good enough to compete in the super league and IS STILL the 2nd best team in the league... The fight between the gavro and us is FAR from over.. and I believe if we get our head out of our asses then we CAN and WILL put up a fight especially in the December-January phase where the Gavro usually looks like a completely different team As long as we stay within 5 points of them until January... then this will be a very close race till the finish If this pyschological dump forces us to drop points like the previous week... we will be out of the running extremely prematurely

Tavlaridi has no business acting like a tough guy when he himself has been playing on minnow teams all his career and has had a TERRIBLE start to the season....
