Dutch Eagle

We sucked but survived. Must improve for the next games. But it is always difficult to play at your normal level if you know that a 0-1 is enough too.

Looks like Michel is sent away.

Pedro Henrique should be available on Thursday. He did a normal trainingprogram today without problems.

Another clean sheet for Kostas Lamprou. The Dutch Nova made a documentary about him (with a free translation): whatever it costs/Kostas: https://www.foxsports.nl/video/fox-sports-doc-kostas-wat-het-kost/

Panionios won 0-1 in Karaiskaki. The gavs missed two penalties.

FT. Once again no win away against Iraklis.

No. 1-1

I do also rate Athletic Bilbao higher than Anderlecht. But I rated Zenit also higher than Anderlecht and look who progressed. Pity that Sotiriou will be suspended after his two yellows. Don't know if there are other players suspended due to too many cards.

Olympiakos - Besiktas it is.

Your wish is granted, my son! First match in Karaiskaki.

Result of the draw: APOEL - Anderlecht

Sparta Praha out so The Czech Republic is without participants. That is good for us. Shaktar out so Ukraine is without participants. That is also good for us. They are ahead but lose a lot of points due to economical and political reasons. Also Dnepr is not allowed to participate thus a weaker team take their spot. Switzerland was already all out Astra Giurgiu out so Romania is without participants. That is also good for us. Osmanli and Fener out for Turkey. That leaves them with only one club. Good for us. Pity that Belgium has three contenders left. But they are a lightyear away from us. Now its up to Oly to grab some more points and minimize the damage. Maybe not for now but for the long term.

A clean sheet will do the trick. Even if Xanthi scores just one goal we will progres. Must be careful the first 20 minutes not allowing Xanthi to score to take away confidence from them.

Time to beat the Gries. This season is decided. We know the champion. Just finish top 5. All clubs lose a lot of points. And at the end 5 points difference is just one point on the PO. If Ivic will rest some one I'm OK with that. All for the glory of the cup.

The latter.

And the first and only club sofar to eliminate a Spanish side this season!

FIFA Best coach of the year sacked at Leicester. Hahaha. What a joke: coach of the year if you were beaten two times by Faroer just before that.....

What a great result for APOEL. They have beaten Athletic Club de Bilbao 2-0 and won 4-3 on aggregate. Bravo tous!

Bravo to our Anchovy-friends for winning against Osmanlispor. Not only good for the coefficient in general but also because they eliminated a next contenders for the spots behind the big countries. The draw tomorrow will be at 13:00 CET.
