The PAOK ladies finish the season with a 1:0 win against Kastoria. The team finished in 5th place with 12 wins, 7 ties and 3 losses. Hopefully next season will be better.

Tomorrow is the day which will decide when the team starts the pre-season training. If OFI wins the cup the team will travel to Holland on June 30. If Olympiakos wins (hopefully) than the team leaves for Holland on July 14.

I found out that the buyout is at 1 mil Euro. If I was PAOK I would try to knock it down as much as possible, but if Benfica does not cooperate, just loan him again and he should be free after June 2026. However this needs to be done quickly. If it drags out, forget about him and look somewhere else.

Don't really think Lucescu's absence is what cost us 2nd place. Two ties in home games with OFI and Kallithea would have been enough for 2nd place. Instead we lost both games. The other issue was not winning any derbies in the regular season.

Vieirinha (retired) Taison ( I would keep him, but explain to him that his playing time will be limited) Schwab (I think it's time to thank him for his services) Ozdoev (keep him, but apparently he is looking for his last good contract which we might not offer) Meite (would like to sign him at a decent price. If he decides to drag his feet like in the past, just forget it.) Colley (gone) Otto (try to change his mind and keep him. All depends on what offers he gets from Spain) Samatta (gone) Bakayoko (gone) Wieteska (not at the current asking price) Thomas (thank you for your services, good luck at you next team) Pavlenka (keep him, and if Kotarski leaves make him no. 1) Balomenos (sadly no chance to get any playing time, loan him out) I think we also need to make some decisions on these players: Gomez (contract expires June 2026) - loan him Lovren (June 2026) - release him from his contract Thymianis (June 2027) - loan him Pena (June 2028) - give him a chance or loan him Soares (June 2026) - another loan or release him from contract Murg (June 2026) - release him from his contract Tissoudali (June 2026) - give him a chance if Lucescu is not the coach, otherwise loan Quagliata (june 2026) - don't believe he is still being paid by PAOK Ricardo (June 2026) - end his contract, otherwise loan again Lyratzis (June 2026) - release him from the contract

Thank you Captain.

Thank you for everything Captain.

Final score 1:0. Hate to say it, but good luck Olympiakos.

WTF Camara.

7 extra minutes.

Vieirinha in for Pelkas. Big save by Kotarski.

Vieirinha ready to come in.

We need a second goal before Vieirinha comes in.

Pelkas in for injured Taison to start the 2nd half.

Apparently Vida choked Kedziora and all hell broke loose. Mayby yellows for both would be good which would mean AEK would play with 10.

Michailidis golara

Our offensive decisions are very bad.

I would have started Ozdoev instead of Meite.

3:1 loss to OFI in the league game.

And here is the reason why he is not leaving PAOK:

Put him in as a forward!

For Sunday's game I would start Otto on left side and Sastre on the right, and eventually sub Baba in the second half. Also if the score is favorable, Vieirinha is an option on either side since he will get some playing time anyway.

From what I understand, Savvidis/PAOK wanted to sell him to Salzburg, but Konstantelias turned down the offer and decided to stay with the team. Apparently there was no talk or even a promise of a new contract. It remains to be seen what will happen this transfer period. Rumors are that he wants to stay at PAOK next season. However I think the team needs to do something about a new contract. His current one ends in June of 2027 (500K salary).

1:1 tie away at Panathinaikos in the first semifinal game of the Greek Cup. Return leg is next Wednesday.
