Panthrakikos beat Volos 1:0 today so the standings are:
1. PAOK 3 (one game)
2. Chania 3 (one game)
3. Panthrakikos 3 (2 games)
4. Volos 0 (2 games)
With a win on Thursday we claim the top spot, which also means we will be seeded in the draw for the Round of 16.

Apparently we are after Warda, the Egyptian dekari from Panaitolikos. At least that's what the rumors said today. The same rumors said that Olympiakos and Panathinaikos are after him, which leads me to believe that this is a fake story created by his agent to drum up interest.
Berbatov has been linked by Bulgarian media to Premier League team.
-
Watched a replay of the game last night on Sport Plus, and luck was on our side yesterday. Kalloni has some good chances in the beginning of the 2nd half to score and take the lead. if that happened I am sure we would not be able to come back.
Once Golasa and Mystakidis entered the game we started playing better and got what we needed, which was a win.
I my opinion Kalloni will be one of the teams that will bid goodbye to Superleague at the end of the season. The other will most likely be Panthrakikos.
-
Why wouldn't they. They managed to chase away Berbatov from the team.
-
We win this one and in our last game we can play our C team.
-
Yes it is. I think all the PAOK home games will be on Laola1.TV

Finally a win.
-
Let's see if PAOK wakes up now and keep the lead.
-
Skondras and Tziolis our worst players today.
-
That's what happens when you don't finish these teams in the first 30 minutes of the game. We score the goal and try to coast for the rest of the game.
-
1:1
Memories of last season.
-
penalty for Kalloni.
-
Need couple more goals and then throw in Cimirot, Konstantinidis, etc. We have two more games this week.
-
If we manage to score (BIG IF), than I think we will win easily. Otherwise, get ready for another 0:0 tie.

-
I think it's time that Cimirot puts on the soccer shoes and gets a start. Time for Kitsiou to sit on the bench and let Konstantinidis play instead. Something needs to change. Since the 2nd half against Tripoli we have played some lousy soccer.
Of interest will be the striker position in that game. Will Berbatov sho was not happy at being substituted get a start, or will Klaus who is in poor form play instead?
-
After defeating Chania next week (I hope), this match should serve as a training session for the second string players.
-
We never had a chance. Getting only 2 points against Krasnodar and Qabala did us in. For the prestige of the team lets have a good showing in the 2 games remaining.
-
So far Berbatov has been one class above Klaus, who has been horrible. Either way, if they don't get service they will both look bad.
-
Sorry, but this is the 21st century guys... Do you still believe in prophecies? That guy might have led a saintly life but no one can predict the future. Well, I actually take this back.... I predict that I'll have Chinese food for dinner!
Me too. Kung Pao Chicken. :D

Exactly. Negotiating trick.
Now that Konstantinidis has signed the next two contract extensions that are being worked on are Kace and Mak. I hear a rumor that Kace turned down a preliminary offer from PAOK, which was for around 400K, and demanded a minimum of 500K per season.
-
We didn't throw the money away...I think we've recouped our cash if he leaves in the winter, depending on the circumstances of his departure.
Correct. His signing brought in an independent sponsor in Sportinbet, many shirts sales (I still have to buy mine), and increased the prestige of the club to the outside world.
On top of that the story is based on articles from the National Inquirer type media in Bulgaria and includes many false facts, such as that around 1,000 fans attacked the players after the Panaitolikos game.
In any case, I would not be surprised if he would like buy out the rest of his contract with PAOK and move to a better league. I am really surprised that player of his stature would even consider coming to a shitty league such as the Superleague. I am sure Savvidis offered him some good money to take the PAOK offer instead of the Premier League offers he had.

Rumor has that Berbatov offered to buy out the rest of his contract from PAOK, so he could be set free. However that's just a rumor, so we will have to wait and see.
