  1. Berbatov gave a vague answer today concerning all the rumors of him leaving the team in January. He basically said, that he is currently a PAOK player, that he is happy with the team and that all he wants to do is play. He said that we should concentrate on the present, since nobody knows what the future holds.

He also took blame for his reaction after being substituted in the Qabala game. He said he made a mistake, and eventually had a talk with Tudor about it and everything is ok.

Finally he said that he wants to play tomorrow, and that he would like to score and catch Stoichkov as the Bulgarian player with the most goals in European competition.

  2. Good, we can loan him to them for the rest of the season.

Tudor chose him to be by his side during the press conference tomorrow in Dortmund. Let's if the idiot PAOK reporters ask him about it, or if they are just going to kiss ass as they usually do.

  3. Sabo and Berbatov are making the trip to Germany, but most likely will not start. Vitor and Golasa are injured and probably will  not see any action until 2016.

Today Tudor tried this lineup at practice:

    ---------------------- Glykos -------------------

    --- Skondras -- Malezas -- Tzavellas ---

    ------ Tziolis ----- Cimirot ------ Kace -----

    Konstantinidis ----------------  Mystakidis

    ---------- Berbatov --------- Mak -----------

I am sure this will not be our lineup on Thursday.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our final game in the group stage of Europa League against a major force in German football, Borussia Dortmund. We will most likely lose this game. I just hope it's not a blow out.

The game will be televised live on Fox Sport 2 in the US, TSN 4 in Canada and beIN Sports Connect in Australia.

  6. I really did not think we would salvage a win after they tied the game. Only in the last 20 minutes of the game we pushed for the win. Kace and Konstantinidis coming into the game elevated the team in my opinion. Tziolis and Pelkas need some bench time. Rodrigues tried hard, assisted on the first goal, but then appeared tired. Klaus was invisible today. Best players for us on the field were Malezas and Konstantinidis. Tzavellas had one his better games as well.

Speaking of the Laola1.TV stream. I really don't like the fact that they now include a German language commentary for the game. I prefer the no commentary, with surrounding sounds of Toumba.

Additionaly, I've heard some complaints from older PAOK fans (seniors) who are not computer savvy. They can't understand why they can't watch PAOK games on regular TV. My 80-year old dad for example told me today; "I don't care to watch every horio game on Dish. I want to see PAOK games."

  7. Here is Tudor's lineup:

    ------------------------- Glykos ------------------------

    --- Vitor -------------- Malezas ----- Tzevallas ----

    Rodrigues ---- Tziolis ------ Golasa ------ Leovac

    ------------------------ Pelkas -------------------------

    ---------- Klaus --------------------- Mak ------------

Antonis was left of the 19-man squad. Cimirot and Sabo will be on the bench.

  8. Let's see if the last two wins will lift the team and we can beat Panionios. Panionios is the surprise of the season so far, and they have quite a good offense.

Vitor might be available for the game. I hope that Tudor starts Cimirot.

    My lineup for the game:

    -------------------------- Glykos ------------------------

    --- Vitor -------------- Malezas ----- Tzevallas ----

    Konstantinidis -- Cimirot -- Kace -- Rodrigues

    ------------------------ Pelkas -------------------------

    ---------- Klaus --------------------- Mak ------------

I would prefer Olsen over Glykos, but I know that won't happen. I would use Cimirot, but I expect to see Tziolis instead of him. Golasa has been good lately, but I think Kace will start. I would also not be surprised if Mak sits this one out. In that case Jairo might start.

  9. True, but this is the type of game you expect when you play teams like that and PAOK is in the rotation mode.

Both Cimirot and Antonis played quite well. I expect both of them to help the team down the road.

I think Korovesis was the weakest link on the team, and it appears that he might not even be good for the bench. He might be a good candidate for a loan.
