  1. Watching the pre-game on PAOK TV, they are showing this hot Swedish female trainer showing what exercises to do Ostersunds players.
  2. Players selected for tomorrow's game: Πασχαλάκης , Ρέι , Λέοβατς , Κωνσταντινίδης , Μάτος , Βαρέλα , Κρέσπο , Μαλεζάς , Σάκχοφ , Τσίμιροτ , Κάτσε , Πέλκας , Μπίσεσβαρ , Κάμπος , Ενρίκε , Μακ , Πρίγιοβιτς , Αθανασιάδης Missing are the injured Canas, Deligiannidis, Leveque. Also Limnios and Koulouris
  3. That should do the trick. You can always connect a laptop to the TV through an HDMI cable and watch it that way. That's what I used to do when PAOK games were on Laola1.TV.
  4. The AEK and Panathinaikos games will be available on Laola1.TV. The PAOK game will be streamed on PAOK TV for 3.99 Euro. ESPN3 (USA) has the Olympiakos game today.

  6. The first one was for qualifying round. This one is playoffs, so I am not surprised they raised the price. Probably it had to do how many people ordered the first one. Supply and demand. If they end up showing their SL games on PAOK TV, I would hope they would stick closer to the 2 Euro per game price. I might pay 5 Euro for a PAOK - Gavros, but will definitively not pay the same amount for PAOK - Platanias.
  7. No word yet if the EL game on Thursday will be available on PAOK TV. As for Superleague games. As it stands PAOK does not have a TV contract in place. On Friday there is an emergency Supeleague meeting to discuss the TV situation, so things might change then. If not, I expect the PAOK home games to be available on PAOK TV on subscription basis. The away games will depend if there is a deal reached with NOVA. In any case this weekend's Superleague games will be televised on NOVA channels in Greece, but next round apparently depends on Friday's negotiations.
  8. Despite the lack of signed contract, all Superleague games this weekend will be televised by novasport in Greece. It's anybody's guess if the games will be available outside of Greece. However there is an emergency Superleague meeting on Friday where all the problems could be resolved.
  9. We play Great Britain in two friendlies in London and them friendlies against Italy, Serbia and Georgia in Athens before travelling to Helsinki for the EURO.
  10. It's obvious we are waiting to see if we make the group stage of EL first and also the results of the EPO elections on the 18th before we make any moves.
  11. And apparently he had similar issues while at Agrinio, with rumors running rampant about his night life. Who ever brought him to PAOK did not do any back ground checks.
  12. Warda needs to be set free without compensation and reported to FIFA. Instead we are again trying to find a team loan him. Some Egyptians we had on the team in the past were good (Magdi, Hassan Brothers), but we had couple that had a screw loose (Shikabala, Warda).
  13. Not really. I don't believe in the farce called playoffs.
  14. Should be like last season. Win the first two games and then play the "kids" in the last game.
  15. That's also the last time a PAOK coach lasted more than one season.
  16. PAOK's schedule: September 19-21, 2017: PAOK - Levadeiakos (no fans) October 24-26, 2017: Apollon pontou - PAOK November 28-30, 2017: winner Aiginiakos/Veroia - PAOK
  17. After the Ivic fiasco, it was clear that Michel wanted Lucescu. The fact that Michel and Lucescu's father have very good relations point to that fact. Unfortunately Savvidis hearing that a lot of PAOK fans didn't like Lucescu stepped in and listened to Vukic. This probably did not make Michel very happy. This most likely did not sit well with some of the players as well. Specially the ones that were brought in by Michel. Lucescu is not a bad coach. He also knows the reality of playing in Superleague. Just like Ivic did. Only time will tell if he has to take us that one step further. I expect players to come out and show the aggressiveness they lacked under Stanojevic. I also expect 2 to 3 transfers to be announced by Michel very soon. P.S. Still waiting for the time, when PAOK will have the same coach for more than one season.
  18. Good luck to Kyriazis, but unless he beats his PB of 88.01m he stands no chance of getting a medal. After that the only Greek athletes competing will be our walk racers in 20 km (men and women) on Sunday.
  19. The time for the Brugge - AEK game should be 21:00..
  20. Razvan Lucescu is the new coach of FC PAOK. He signed 1 + 1 year contract. Stanojevic is history. He is the 92nd coach in PAOK's history: 1. Konstantinos Andreadis (Greece): 1926-1931 2. Rudolf Gassner (Austria): 1931-1932 3. Aristotelis Armaris (Greece): 1932-1933 4. Nikos Sankionis (Greece): 1933-1934 5. Charilaos Papadopoulos (Greece): 1945-1946 6. 21. Cimirot's agent says that Eintrach Frankfurt will make an official offer for the player soon.
  22. Melissas loan to Lamia is now official. We are now left with 5 goalies.
  23. Dutch referees for this game. Bas Nijhuis is the ref that called the legendary Tottenham - PAOK (1:2), where he red-carded (+ penalty) Stafylidis for a hand ball.
  24. Apparently the 2nd place finishers from the four Division 3 groups will play in playoffs to fill the 18th spot in the Football league. One stipulation is that they have to produce a 300K Euro as collateral to be able to take part.
  25. If I was Savvidis and Galatasaray wants to make a deal with me I would demand the 1.5 mil cash right on the table. None of this "we'll pay you later" as happened with Rodrigues. I have some reservations concerning the authenticity of the Leovac news. If I was Galata I would not let that loser Tudor bring in his favourite playes from PAOK. I would have kicked his ass out following the Europa League debacle. According to some Greek sites (can you really believe them?) Klaus has given his approval to being sold. If there is any truth to this, I think it is a good move for both parties.
